But in the Mustang, that button is so far away from the start button... how will I ever reach it?I just push the button in my F150. Saves me $100.
Been driving since the mid 1980's. We had to put starters in cars all the time back in the day because they were crappy POS starters.Ford et.al. don't want to talk about it, but a few dealers are: To wit, replacement starters and/or flywheels on some models are all but non existent. Dealers are even resorting to local auto parts stores when necessary.
I believe we all reminded them about excess wear and tear, didn't we?
I got lucky.Mine worked for the first few weeks and has not functioned since in the last two months. I've even tried to get it to work by toggling it off then back on, and it never works anymore.
Good riddance.
