NOT A.I., I swear! I hopped out of the car for just a second, and forgot to set the parking brake. The danged thing mustâve slipped into gear, and she took off into hyperspace. Even these non-Whippled Mustangs are fast!
Hereâs a little more on the Mustang inside an Air Force museum, for those interested. (And yes, for those of you with good eyes, that was a Challenger with scissor doors next to it in the earlier photo underneath the B-2).
Nice! My brother worked his whole life at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base until retiring this year. That and the F-15 were his favorite projects he worked on.
I will continue to enjoy her and search for nice places for photos. I was just getting tired of the same olâ same olâ pictures in front of my church that I take with all of my cars (see picture).
Thereâs a âWarbirdsâ museum within 50 miles of here that features a P-51, but theyâd never let me...
Wow⊠castles AND kilometers. Thatâs TWO things we donât have here. Thank goodness I do at least have road trips as well. Gotta love road trips in my Mustang.
Iâm afraid there arenât an abundance of castles in Dayton for me to park in front of. We DO have one advantage though⊠no mandatory front license plate.
I took some pics of my S650 âDaisyâ and stuck them into ChatGPT to construct more appealing background scenes than I am able to capture in photos by myself. I think theyâll make awesome desktop wallpapers!
I absolutely HAD to have a shot alongside a P-51 Mustang, the plane for which our cars...
Yeah, I asked A.I. and my aftermarket ones probably need a magnet or something that talks to the sensor. It looks like that $205 figure for OEM is spot on, through Ford, American Muscle, or Late Model Restoration. Ugh!
Sensors? Where? I canât see how mine could possibly be installed wrong⊠theyâre pretty basic and simple. Unless mine arenât built quite right. They are aftermarket, Iâm sure, not OEM. Maybe missing something that alerts that sensor of yours? Iâd love to avoid accidental pop-offs, but I can...
I love mine, although I did see people saying they had damaged their top, So before I ever used them, I went to the hardware store and picked up some sticky-backed foam insulation strips and made sure the underside was nice and padded. Never had any indication of damage to my roof material...
Mine's not a wrap... it's an aftermarket plastic piece. I think I'd prefer a wrap, though, since once the plastic starts to get swirls marks there isn't much you can do about it.
My goal was to TRY and make the black on the decklid match the black of the tail lights as close as possible.
The little "safety" lights were my worry on Daisy... I was afraid they'd stand out and look weird. But they're not really that noticeable on your dark red (at least in pictures).
I had my holes wrapped over, so they're completely hidden during the day, and kinda glow a neat cool blue at night...
Nice! Daisy didn't have a good "before" picture for comparison, because she started out black... you couldn't really see the "fake grill" portions. I like seeing those pictures side-by-side. (And mine was WRAPPED - much less cursing involved where the color meets the grill).
The new...
Gorgeous! I wish I had your photography skills. Your black paint looks infinitely deeper than mine. And the red inner door piping should compliment to the exterior pinstripes perfectly.
I hope you're happy with your headlight blackout... your '24 has the chrome lights, which might just peep...
I dunno if that's your ride in the picture, but it looks like Daisy's coupe sibling (before she got all blue-ified).
Now all you need are some Redback Spider center caps for your wheels! (My stock wheels look kinda like a web!)
Ah-HA! I found a pic of Daisy with the chrome pony on her rear decklid!
Here she is next to Ol' Red, her 2014 GT brother. Red is a convertible too... he's got a very rare removable hardtop. (My "winter" car, as much as a Mustang can be considered a winter car...).
Yes, my ponies were red. True chrome is what I had wanted originally. I had bought a replacement pair of badges to do just that.
Access to the front pony requires removal of the grill, so I figured they could install the chromed ponies when they wrapped the vehicle. Unfortunately, it was...
The headlights are a pre-cut film I bought that my wrap guys installed for me when they did the blue. They look nice enough, but when it comes time to replace them, I'm gonna look into professional paint tint - the film is kinda satin at most, not shiny.
She goes to her first Cars 'n' Coffee...
