Mine worked for the first few weeks and has not functioned since in the last two months. I've even tried to get it to work by toggling it off then back on, and it never works anymore.
Good riddance.
Little askew of the topic, but I had the stock pads on my '14 GT Brembo car - two sets. Massive brake dust. The last set I put in was the Brembo brand ceramic pads. Almost no dust. I wish Ford put ceramic pads stock. My new '25 has the PP wheels - sooo many holes to clean. I'll change to...
I have about 1200 miles on my GT (manual) and the start/stop seems to have stopped working.
Which is great.
It definitely worked when the car was new, but I'd always shut it off. Now, it never works.
When I come to a stop, and let the clutch out, I get the "no auto S/S" symbol in the lower...
I'm just wanting a FP tune. Hopefully it comes soon - from posts above it sounds like it is.
Just 20 more hp/tq and a snappier feeling on the pedal would be great.
On my '14 GT I had installed the Steeda intake and tune - woke that shit up quite a bit. I really noticed the difference when...
I like it - I am a child of the 80's.
Not sure I'd buy it - but I WOULD buy those seats.
I think the wheels are kinda cool - throwback to teh turbine wheels from the Fox GT mustangs.
I guess Ford can't be kind enough to include ceramic pads - those wheels are gonna get f'ed with brake dust.
Yeah, I forgot to say that I thought the old Pirellis were LOUD! Conti's were much quieter for teh life of the tire.
Hoping these newer ones are better.
One thing I like - and don't think I'd give up easily - is the FAT rim guard that these new Pirellis have. Nice feature.
On my 2014 GT they lasted about 25K (daily driven like a normal person - minimal brodies). I'd expect less on the '25 due to heavier weight and more power.
After the stock P-Zeros I switched to Continental Extreme Contact DW. Love those. They laster over 30K - maybe a bit more. Great tire.
If I need anything I just look at it on the screen of the car. It's even got a cool "visual search" feature that shows an area of the car with things you can touch to take you to that part of the manual.
Bummer. -22% from last April.
But that's about 1 out of 5 people passing on buying a Mustang this April - those are the folks who want to tune/race and the people that just can't swing the new prices I guess.
I'm skeered guys.
I'm an OLD PRO at rev matching. I really hate how well the system works, and I hate that I use it.
To be fair to me, the way the pedal is programmed in normal mode - it's so dead that you really have to move the pedal a lot to rev match, it's a un-natural feeling to press the pedal half way...
100% incorrect. Surprised nobody else said anything.
When is the output shaft of an automatic disconnected from the engine while in drive?
An auto does NOT ever go into neutral when shifting thru forward gears.
Love this. I'm a roundy-round NASCAR guy - but this is the kind of stuff I love to see FORD do. Actual cars "made by" Ford. For decades with NASCAR you have to just accept that there's nothing factory about them apart from Ford's money. It's great to see them do this. The Ford GT was cool...
