  1. Report: S650 Mustang To Use Unique Platform with CD6 Architectural Bits

Why in the world would the 350/500 or any performance variants be on a shorter wheelbase than the GT? There well never be a two seat mustang. Mustang XL? WTF is this, 1986 in a parallel universe? I usually back the Pill, but this is some whack speculation.
  2. Report: S650 Mustang To Use Unique Platform with CD6 Architectural Bits

Totally. If it lost a 6" section across the entire side it would look fantastic. Like Jake said, Ford should just stop being a bitch and go big(ger) with the Mustang. If they want to make it it's own "brand." Chevy went huge with the Vette.
  3. Report: Next gen S650 Mustang will have full 8 year life cycle

It will be nice if it's really on the CD6. And if they keep it the same size. I have a '14 GT that I really like, and I'm fixing to skip the S550. If I was ready to buy a new car, I'd get a '20 GT-PP in Grabber Lime...but I'm just not ready. I'm really looking forward to the next gen. I hope...
  4. Report: Next gen S650 Mustang will have full 8 year life cycle

Totally. And I have a huge hard-on for the Explorer ST. The new styling along with the CD6/longitudinal architecture....drool.
  5. Report: Next gen S650 Mustang will have full 8 year life cycle

Sir, that was 25 FULL YEARS AGO. A quarter CENTURY. Really 27 model years. I have a theory that at some point a young person learns the value of money and what things cost, and that get's set in their mind. I'm 42. To me, a candy bar or a can of soda should cost 50 cents. Now they're $1.25...
  6. Report: Next gen S650 Mustang will have full 8 year life cycle

I'd take a lighter smaller car with less power, if that's what it took for it to not grow even more.
  7. S650 2023 Mustang Chief Engineer / Program Director is Michael Celetino

Regarding continuing on the current chassis, or moving to the CD6. I remember a few years back Ford said hey, these are the chassis we are consolidating ALL our vehicles to. Focus Chassis/Escape CD6 for RWD or 4WD passenger cars Ranger chassis F-150 Chassis Super duty Chassis Combine this...
  8. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

Meh. I'll stop buying Mustangs when the V8 is not available. I don't care what displacement. Hear that, Ford? I'll just buy the last V8 and that will be it. Sad.
