We don't know what the engine control unit might change to the engine mapping when it thinks the hood is open, so I personally wouldn't mess with this.
It is not all about watts.
You can have one speaker playing louder at 100 w than another one at 500 w.
The same subwoofer will play at different volume levels when in a sealed box than in a bandpass configuration.
Have not seen anybody turning auto start/stop off via Forscan successfully.
There's a 100 or so bucks module you have to install behind the main display that will do the job.
You need to stare at a woman until she feels uncomfortable to later be able to describe what you liked most and if you found her beautiful?
Maybe your (front view) camera needs an update. 😉
As you have already lowered mids and treble to minimum, I would go the whole 9 yards and try 100% bass instead of "around 70% from max.".
From my experience, this should accentuate the bass a bit more.
Finding music that sounds great with these settings vs music I would actually like to hear in...
You can push start and auto start-stop buttons at the same time and the engine starts with AS/S turned off.
So if you have two working fingers next to another, no more annoyance :sunglasses:
@smurfslayer I recommend watching the video somewhere on YouTube showing the actual Mustang crashtests.
It is unbelievable how far the dummy flies forward until the seat belt tensioner goes off (actually you can't even identify that it pulls back the seatbelt, it will rather compensate the...
I had also door rattles and can only recommend have a car hifi shop install sound deadening (or learn how to do it yourself).
Additional benefit: makes the doors sound more premium when getting closed :)
Man, St. Martin seems to have definitely not enough miles of road to drive your Stang, so you need to find other ways to keep yourself busy playing with it.
😊
Good for many others though
Oh that's an interesting piece of information - in another thread I recommended a user visiting a dealer to turn off the Electronic Sound Enhancement in his Ecoboost, so do you think a regular dealer can actually not do this with official software?
In my native language this wording is not really offensive and more in the sense of "I just don't understand what you are doing and why you are ignoring common sense of trying the cheapest possible solution first, so there must be a difference in how you think".
So if you say for a native...
DISCLAIMER: English is not my mother tongue, so please don't take my wording too serious and offensive.
You are such a strange guy, sorry to say it that way, why didn't you ask the dealer to turn electronic sound enhancement off?
As I explained before, a competent dealer should be able to make it, it's not a risky hack but an option with a software on/off switch. Might have to ask more than one dealer though.
Especially if you tell the dealer you have a health issue due to this feature they should help you out.
Anyways...
Actually they play sound as soon as you start the engine. It is meant to give a constant, basic "rumble" as you'd expect from a large displacement V8.
Again, I still don't get why you think guessing is better than testing.
No dealer around? Or are you afraid that such a little tweak could solve...
Can you post an outside picture where we can see if the drop front and rear is the same?
In this light and angle it appears that the rear is a bit lower.
Dale, I don't get it, why don't you go to the dealer and have the official ELECTRONIC SOUND ENHANCEMENT FEATURE turned off at first? Not trying any fuse pulling stuff, but turning it off where it has to be turned off?
In case that works, then you can donate the money you saved to someone with a...
I haven't driven both, but here's another aspect:
MagneRide is not just "soft in normal, stiff in sport".
In every mode it is a dynamic system that changes the characteristics of each individual shock depending on the very situation, i.e. a harsh turn left will stiffen the right shock to lessen...
