I understood that the so-called "2024 Mustang" will be the last generation Mustang with V8, not last model year produced.
Like the 2015 Mustang was produced until 2023 (with a facelift from MY 2018).
So my guess would be a production run of maybe another 5-6 years, maybe ending 2030.
Seriously such a difference between the 2015 and 2024?
One of the most striking things to me is how fast I can drive with top down completely stress free and with even all windows down compared to all the Audi/BMW/Bentleys who all use ugly wind deflectors plus have windows up.
He probably just wants to provoke so that this completely derailed thread won't die or gets btt I guess :)
It means "Some of the posts in this thread are just stupid".
Edit: I agree with this statement though.
@Knightro looks great, I also ordered mine in Iconic silver.
Would you mind taking a picture from the side like zengineer posted of his truck?
Would like to see how low it sits.
Does it have Magneride?
You are totally wrong, we have people bringing their fast cars from all over Europe to Germany, even right steered UK cars, just to drive legally fast on the Autobahn.
And the program was called European Delivery, here's some advertisement text I found:
If I would spend like $80k for a proper...
Wow, can't you just attach it to a stick or something that is long enough for the scanner to read it?
The rear windows have been a pain on the S550 and wouldn't go up completely after some time, so I would see that they are being operated as few times as possible.
Right, I experienced the same in some VW cars with lane keep assist turned on.
I use to have only one hand on the wheel and that very softly when cruising and would let the wheels follow ruts when I realize the car still drives straight.
Lane assist interprets missing countersteering force as...
Maybe my English isn't good enough, but what you describe is what some people are doing and I explained that it is forbidden, even when a stupid bonehead is occupying the left lane for no reason (which is also forbidden).
Flashing lights or blinker while approaching faster however is not allowed...
All good then, but you might admit that there's a reason implied by BMW for which one would first want to drive an already bought car (vs regular test drive) in Germany before it's getting shipped to a country far away where it will be very difficult to experience its full potential outside a...
Your OP was about exactly that BMW offers to come to Germany and drive the car where there are in many sections no speed limits.
I said no such thing.
Most drivers on German Autobahns are either ignorant or careless, or just lecturing faster cars by blocking them.
Thing is, they are in general...
@roadpilot
It wasn't about BMW encouraging to drive their cars when being drunk, but the OP mentioned a program where they encourage to come to Germany to drive their cars at speeds you cannot experience anywhere else in the world legally.
As your heart rate seems to get up so quickly making...
@roadpilot
You cannot compare your miles long straight Interstates with free visibility to German Autobahns!
They are for most parts twisted up and down roller-coasters with large trees left and right for reducing road noise which obviously obstruct your sight.
You don't know what's happening...
Interesting program, but also very irresponsible.
People not used to such speeds are a danger for others and themselves at the same time.
It's not only about the speed, but also about stupid other drivers who change lanes at 70 mph without checking if someone is approaching at much higher...
The main reason dedicated foglights actually help a lot in fog is the placement very low close to the street so they don't light up the wall of fog in front of you but the surface instead.
So no modern ultra sophisticated super headlight can ever substitute the very basic physical parameter of...
Yeah, I checked the sound with earphones instead of just the smartphone speaker.
Doesn't sound the way I would like it to sound, maybe I'll find a better video.
The rear is, as typical for the Eibach springs, lower than the front, particularly worse on the convertibles due to the additional weight of the top and its mechanism.
Steeda has spring spacers which I use on my 2016'...
I'm referring to low speed, low load, convertible top down elbow out total relaxed rolling down the boulevard, no show-off pedal kicking, just steady speed and RPM.
Edit: Deleted a video which did not represent the sound I like.
In most exhaust sound Videos people rev up like crazy and don't let the RPM settle for a few seconds, or they only show cold starts.
But to me, THE most important thing is the classical unique V8 burble you can hear miles away at low RPM, I'd say my 08' did exactly this, whereas my stock 2016'...
