As I explained before, a competent dealer should be able to make it, it's not a risky hack but an option with a software on/off switch. Might have to ask more than one dealer though.
Especially if you tell the dealer you have a health issue due to this feature they should help you out.
Anyways...
Actually they play sound as soon as you start the engine. It is meant to give a constant, basic "rumble" as you'd expect from a large displacement V8.
Again, I still don't get why you think guessing is better than testing.
No dealer around? Or are you afraid that such a little tweak could solve...
Can you post an outside picture where we can see if the drop front and rear is the same?
In this light and angle it appears that the rear is a bit lower.
Dale, I don't get it, why don't you go to the dealer and have the official ELECTRONIC SOUND ENHANCEMENT FEATURE turned off at first? Not trying any fuse pulling stuff, but turning it off where it has to be turned off?
In case that works, then you can donate the money you saved to someone with a...
I haven't driven both, but here's another aspect:
MagneRide is not just "soft in normal, stiff in sport".
In every mode it is a dynamic system that changes the characteristics of each individual shock depending on the very situation, i.e. a harsh turn left will stiffen the right shock to lessen...
That's strange, as I have my lunch typically in the car listening to a specific news station and the radio turns off 10 Minutes after ignition off.
Same behavior as Gen6.
I tried it and it threw tons of error messages on the display and warning chimes started once ignition was turned on.
Where did you get this info? Livinitup list doesn't list any options for this parameter.
To my knowledge the Magneride software not only can, but definitely should be recalibrated.
Read it at different places on different forums, here as well as on 6th gen forum.
Would ask a different dealer if the first best one never heard about it.
I tried every value and unfortunately none except 2 and 3 have the lights on at all.
Was hoping to get just a satic light for the same duration values 2 and 3 keep the lights on. :(
So I stick to 3 as default which is at least less aggressive than the DH (2).

I highly doubt that stickier tires increase any kind of risk. The better the grip, the better it works.
And I also cannot imagine it makes you spin, in fact, quite the opposite, if you try to drift, it will not allow you to do that.
Maybe there was a defect or something in your...
For really always track mode, you could pull the plug on the valve actuater as they stay mechanically open afaik.
There are small adapters available who disguise as actuators so no errors will be detected.
Auto start/stop button can be pushed together with engine start button, no need to wait...
Completed and in Si units:
1 G = 9.81 m/s per s
1 m/s = 3.6 km/h
9.81 m/s^2 * 3.6 km/h * s/m = 35.28 km/h per s
60 miles/h * 1.61 km/mile = 96.6 km/h
=> 96 km/h / 3.6 m/s / km/h = 26.83 m/s
With known average 4.3 s 0-60 mph:
4.3 s * acceleration_average m/s^2 = 26.83 m/s
=>...
Hey, I remember reading somewhere there actually was a major firmware or even hardware update for the BCM I think it was.
That might be the problem then, but if I remember correctly it was something that could be fixed for older builds as well.
Many IIRC, but you might do some searching...
So there are already 4-5 people hinting to the official Ford feature "Electronic Sound Enhancement" which is implemented to make the engine and exhaust sound much louder and boomier inside the car. Through ALL speakers, so exhaust note might be coming more from the rear, while engine sounds come...
That's right, I drove an Ecoboost convertible for 4,000 miles on a road trip and from the inside it sounded V6/8ish, and when stepping out I thought I accidentally rented a Malibu.
So I'd first have someone to change above mentioned value in Forscan before doing anything else.
1) Double push the right button on the left side of the steering wheel to deactivate lane assist.
This also deactivates the "put hands on wheel" warning
2) You know that the cruise control has a limiter function that does exactly what you describe?
It's the left bottom button on the left side...
Wireless charging works great for me unless I use Google maps and stream music at the same time.
In such cases, phone heats up and charging is slow or even stops completely.
Love having it anyways.
Yeah, received the same one.
Additional functionality of starting in Sport mode doesn't work, but one touch and higher speed opening does - guess I'll have to spend a couple of bucks.
This has been happening with my Gen6 and the Gen7 as well.
Starts typically at higher speeds of around 90 in most cases that have been reported in Germany.
Adjusting the rubber bumpers to get more tension on the front corners of the hood helped a tiny little bit.
At lower speed it might solve...
