  1. My Adventures in Upgrading the Subwoofer and Center Speaker

A subwoofer is, due to the frequency range it should play, supposed to be not locatable, that's why also home hifi subwoofers can be placed away from the main speakers. If you clearly "hear" more music from the back, then it will rather be coming from the rear speakers which now sound from...
  2. My Adventures in Upgrading the Subwoofer and Center Speaker

Just a small clarification: There is no such thing as "min RMS". One can obviously run any sub or other speaker at nearly zero power without damaging it, it just reduces its volume. Important is to decrease the volume once you hear distortion. Some really high end hi fidelity nerds use so called...
  3. PLEASE HELP! Clunks and rattles after Steeda lowering springs and stop the hop kit

I had a defect rear damper (center rod bearing was broken or something). If available, try different ones or swap sides if possible to see if the noise comes from the other side then.
  4. My Adventures in Upgrading the Subwoofer and Center Speaker

@Starship Enterprise Did you check the sub dimensions vs my cheat sheet kind of picture? Veeeeeeeery important: find someone who turns of the ESE, otherwise you will run into the same problem once the engine is running. Engine off - sub might sound great, engine on - lower frequencies are cut...
  5. Is this possible via forscan? (speed warning and puddle lights)

Yeah, it worked! Only that parameter was nowhere to find in my APIM: Module to select: APIM (Module Configuration) — do not select the "As-Built format" version. Locate the following parameter strings using the search bar: Speed Limit Assist (SLA): Change from Disabled to Enabled. Hower...
  6. $79 Subwoofer Upgrade (Pioneer TS-A250D4 10" Sub) - IT SOUNDS GREAT!

What you observed is what most other disciples of that super duper bass upgrade cheerfully describe as "wow, less boomey and way more precise, now the lower door woofers really come to life". In fact, sensitivity of the Pioneer is one of the smallest on the market, one would need much more...
  7. Is this possible via forscan? (speed warning and puddle lights)

Ok, thanks, but not enough info . Sergeant google / Gemini spits out this: Will give it a try soon.
  8. Is this possible via forscan? (speed warning and puddle lights)

Thank you, and yes, I know how to work with Forscan and have all changes already, seatbelt differently though. Only thing missing is the tolerance option. With "Pre defined tweaks" you mean what? Easy mode? For that we would also need to know the respective module.
  9. Is this possible via forscan? (speed warning and puddle lights)

As another user asked, would you share the changes needed for that?
  10. Disappointed

    a) You might want to use the support chat on ford.com. In my case they could even tell the name of the ship it was and when it left which port b) Don't want to scare you, but there's a new thread claiming there was a hail storm in Flat Rock damaging a whole lot of cars that were parked in the...
  11. noise reduction

What about silent mode? It immediately gets in effect once the engine fired up.
  12. OTA updates

Had gotten so used to that annoyance that I didn't notice it had been fixed and how much better my life has become since! Jokes aside, really enjoy it know that I realize it :)
  13. Deepest sounding axle back

Any more information on this? And interesting would be a video with the sound of a warm engine after idling a bit longer when it goes into most silent state.
  14. Battery Voltage Question - 11.5 Volts When Off

I think the negative cable of the tender should not be connected directly to the battery, but to a grounding point. Otherwise, the BMS would be bypassed.
  15. 2024 S650 Mustang EcoBoost front suspension clunk/thump over bumps — need help diagnosing

Sounds like the upper control arm. Had similar symptoms on my S550, there was minimal, very hard to find play in the ball joint. Marked with yellow chalk: Replacement is relatively cheap. Had to replace them twice within 80,000 miles, but always depends on the road conditions.
  16. Disabling ANC and ESE via Forscan '25 Full Steps

There's only one person with this specific hole. Why not creating and using an individual thread (bathroom) to drain that subjective opinion there? ESE is real and the Earth is not a disc.
  17. Disabling ANC and ESE via Forscan '25 Full Steps

@nornor1 Just a friendly warning: zig is a fundamentist denier that electronic sound enhancement exists and tries to hijack most threads on this subject. So he might just try to gaslight you into a direction where there must be some different thing or parameter to change and that it CANNOT be...
  18. Disabling ANC and ESE via Forscan '25 Full Steps

Synthetic frequencies which also interfere with music, especially when you upgraded your subwoofer you'll notice that problem. In general, if you pay attention to it, the more torque is requested from the engine, the wider gets the soundstage where the sound comes from, like in the old THX...
  19. Keep speed warning and lane assist setting after next engine start

I understand that @Quarktasche wants to keep the warning but add a tolerance to it so chimes don't go off at 1 kph above the limit. Would love to have this working for the adaptive cruise control as well. Best way for EU configuration for toggling warning chimes on/off is what I wrote in the...
  20. Change lane keep to lane centering?

Great, will check it next time I have a use. I made comparisons between to .ab with Notepad++, but that's still a bit complicated and doesn't work with Livinitup.
