I can confirm that stock Gen 3 redline is 7500 rpm, spec is available via HPTuners software...

The 5.4 coyote is stroked. Larger bore, but has a 3.9ish” stroke.

you can safely stroke to 4” but it requires DEEP cylinders to keep the piston skirt stable.

So, a 2024 GT packs 480 HP? Or 485? I wonder how aggressive the torque management will be with the 10-speed auto?

480 non active exhaust, 486 w/ active exhaust.

What’s it gonna do with a whipple pullied down on 260GT is the real question.

That's going to be wild. There's one guy in our group with a S550 5.0/10-speed. He did simple bolt on mods and ran 11.7 at our track. It wasn't enough so then he installed a simple mail-order twin turbo kit. I have personally watched him take down Hellcats, street bikes, a stock Lambo, and several other fast machines. It's insane to me how well the Coyote handles that power level. I think he's around 1,100 on the dyno and the engine hasn't grenaded yet. He ran it all last summer like that.

Updated the post to clarify the cam info and add darkhorse info.

Looks like the gen4 coyote as a whole will have new camshafts.

The darkhorse will have predator rods and a different crankshaft. It also appears the darkhorse will have a different block than the gen4 coyote.

By the way big thanks for doing what you do.

We know they’ll have new camshafts they’ve said this from the Beginning for the mustang gt they’re 13mm

Dark horse is unknown probably 14mm like the gen 3s
As far as the block i wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a voodoo/predator block or a variant

Darkhorse will have upgraded connecting rods and upgraded cams. Sounds like the normal GT will not have upgraded rods.
A Balanced Crankshaft, harder camshaft & forged connecting rods & a revised tune .
They will also get COOLERS for the , Engine, Transmission & Differential..

The 4th gen 5.0 is my favorite thing about the S650. I definitely think we're going to see a hi-po variant of this engine in a future Boss 302 model.
How about a BOSS 307?

I’d rather let the ‘name’ develop. Doesn’t really matter what it’s called it matters more what it is ‘known’ as.
