Where did you find this document. Great readI thought this was interesting.
I’m 99% sure GT will be 480hp w/o active exhaust and 486hp with active exhaust.I’m confused by this - but also hopeful… I placed my order for my GT and on the doc, it says 5.0 ti-vct v8 GT 450 HP. Everywhere I read it says 480 hp… but then I saw articles from November saying it’s 450… so which is it? Obviously hoping for that 480 figure
It's officially 480 HP (486 With active exhaust) Ford officially made a video of it in like Thanksgiving I think.I’m confused by this - but also hopeful… I placed my order for my GT and on the doc, it says 5.0 ti-vct v8 GT 450 HP. Everywhere I read it says 480 hp… but then I saw articles from November saying it’s 450… so which is it? Obviously hoping for that 480 figure
I was looking at that too. Hp and Tq are the same at 5252 rpm. If the Dh makes 500hp at 5000rpm, then the hp must drop dramatically to meet the torque drop tooDH's 500bhp at rpm clearly an error but otherwise a great read
Those are the same as the gen 3, And if the other things listed on here are true the valve size is also same but the cams have less lift than the gen 3.The things that stuck out are the “forged steel crankshaft”, “PTWA” cylinder linings and port and cylinder injection.
New to mustangs and the coyote engine. Are these new for the 4th gen coyote? Forged steel crankshaft should mean SBE on GT is good for some pretty good power?
