    Ford claims the only difference in dh and gt engine is the tune and rods. But looks like the timing is the same on both (both max at 26ish) which kind of adds up from the dyno's we've seen so far. So I guess the question would be is the gt underrated or is the dh overrated?

    So yes and no on the more money is the number higher yes but inflation sucks. A 19 401a pp1 gt was around 50kish but use a inflation calc on that 50k from 2019 to 2023 and that 50k is now $59,427 how much is a loaded 24 gt again..

    Those are some respectable numbers, however it's braking and acceleration are complete because of it's tires. I dunno about the Darkhorse over a cheaper pp gt and buy stickier tires.     Something else to consider this could be nothing or could something. The dyno's on youtube so far that are under 1000 miles are dyno'ing lower 397-408whp and the few that are over 1000 miles are dyno'ing 420-440whp. Could just be the fact that different dyno's different days etc or something...

    It will be interesting to see how the 10 spd's do in the 1/4 given that the gen 4 is about 20-25hp higher in the 6-7.5k range than the gen3 and it's not falling off over 7k. Since that's the range the 10spd will be in the whole time.

    I won't be shocked if there's not even a hp difference in the two the minor difference in dragstrip numbers there is most likely the better trans or the tires on the dh. I'd bet 10 spd to 10 spd the are also probably close to the same as this or closer. And the handling and braking differences...

    The main point is the s550 and s650 look to be the same weight and we know they are the same gearing. So it most likely should be a little bit faster no matter the transmission simple as that.
