I have seen that the 2024's paddle shifting is vastly improved over the S550. So, hard to say. Id say the short shifting is a product of low miles.Would manual mode help with the short shifting?
He said it was 65* but didn't give the DA. But, good point regardless.Late August is probably not the best time for a hero run. Im sure the times will drop in October with the temps.
I would hate to think that too. That is some Pu**y BS if so.Yeah.. it sounded like he was trying to make excuses... he didn't sound super happy .. not excited..... no other video I have seen says anything about the A10 short shifting.. would show up in the dyno videos as well...
Nothing about I need to get back to the dealer and see what's wrong ...
These A10s in drag mode are very good...
I mean probably the worst part is he is running these times on a drag radial... makes no sense .. more weight but power bump should compensate
Only thing I can think of ... I had a 20 f250 powerstroke with the A10 and Ford used to limit the power in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear to be easier on the drive train.. you didn't get full power until 4th gear.. would hate to think they did the same here..
One of the lower dynos had over 1000 miles but I wouldn't read much into itSomething else to consider this could be nothing or could something. The dyno's on youtube so far that are under 1000 miles are dyno'ing lower 397-408whp and the few that are over 1000 miles are dyno'ing 420-440whp. Could just be the fact that different dyno's different days etc or something else time will tell.
Granted, different vehicle and don’t want to introduce thread creep but…. Is there a recall for an axle issue with those? They did the same thing in my f250...didn't make full power until 4th to protect the drive train
It's hilarious when one run goes below expectations and everyone flips their shitLets all don't get our panties up in a furl. Car and Driver ran only a tenth or so off of this time with a 6MT car. One test does not make car.
A result of high expectations for those few extra ponies, which apparently haven’t materialized. Kinda the opposite of the huge 10 hp loss between 2021 and 2022. Turned out to be bragging rights for the ‘21s on paper but zilch on the pavement. Heck, actual performance may have even gone the other direction. It's hilarious when one run goes below expectations and everyone flips their shit

This is looking like it could turn out to be the same deal.

Normally I agree with you but at the price they want for these S650s especially the Dark Horse, out performing the outgoing model shouldn't be in question. It's hilarious when one run goes below expectations and everyone flips their shit
It’s not a dual clutch so from what I’ve seen going into manual mode, causes more issues than it solves lol leave it in auto and get a good tune on itWould manual mode help with the short shifting?
