Think we're agreeing on some things and disagreeing on others but I'm trying to track
First on price, while again I 100% agree the DH is overpriced I just don't understand where you're getting these 75k figures from
Straight from their site with all basic fees:
Base DH
Premium DH

BMW's CS models are their uncompromising offerings. The M2 CS specifically being the smallest and lightest makes it one of the best possible cars they've offered in years.
I don't see what you're seeing at all, but to each their own, cheers
The PP2 was never on the level of a GT350, Mach 1, or Dark Horse from a driving experience. It was a tuned up PP1 with stiffer springs and cooling, and the biggest set of Cup tires they could fit on the thing. Same crappy steering and poor damping that affects all the GT PPs, same crappy MT82...
This is what I'm referring to. The Shelby American model would look totally fine without it. It just looks like a forced me-too fad inspired by the DH with some more inspo from the S550 GT500's fender decorations mixed in. You can see the surface trailing upward from the outer edge of the brake...
I imagine they can claim it is on a technical level but I’m guessing practically speaking it’s just for styling. Just plastic, likely to highlight the added width to the fenders.
People need to stop trying to make the DH-inspired eyeliner a thing. I see it on GTs, and now it looks like this Shelby American model is following suit. Even though it looks less forced than a GT with some vinyl on top, it would just look better without it. Keep that surface body color and...
Right, think Super Snake, which is a Shelby American product. They're a separate entity from Ford's Shelby (ie Ford Performance) division, which is in-house.
Shelby American products don't do anything for me, but I'd rather have them exist than not. Factory models modified post-production with...
Not to be confused with a factory Shelby model. Using the outgoing Shelby American GT as an example of what’s typically done:
• body work (hood, bumpers, spoiler)
• wheels
• springs
• sway bars
• camber plates
• exhaust
• optional supercharger...
After looking at it more, they really should have committed to the roofline and made it hyper contemporary and swoopy. Kind of looks like you have a futuristic and dynamic body mated to the outgoing Charger's sort of upright and frumpy silhouette. It's like the roofline is too high and bulbous...
The B58 is undoubtedly the 2JZ of this generation, it's not even close
Back on topic, hey, at least Dodge decided to actually make a new car here. Are those new seats and door cards? They distracted me from the entirely new interior and chassis.
Exterior's a mixed bag. The concept was...
Most definitely have and still do, just not as a prospective buyer of the current iterations. Still keeping a close eye to see if any updates or new inclusions pop up. Just can't get excited about the GT or DH (strictly due to personal preferences about steering, features, engineering sameness...
It’s just like every other California Special…
They always look like non-OEM, dealer-installed Auto Zone samplers. Not sure who this is appealing to, with questionable vinyls, odd wheels, and tacky colored trimmings.
There has to be a science behind how they come up with these design choices...
