Steve, don't get me wrong, there's no chance I'd be able to afford my guesstimates, but I suspect Ford Aust is going to stuff this up by being greedy.

I'd love my DH manual to be $95k drive away, as that's my sweet spot, still expensive but not crazy.
I really don't see how we could have a VIN assigned already - at best it could be some generic number. Hence I'm keen to see what is the number.
Btw I haven't heard a thing from my dealer - I'm also starting to look at other options if this drags on for too much longer.
Same here, price has to be right ey, and if they play funny buggers it just means this toy is not for me. Plenty of other options around - S650 DH is not indispensable.
Agree with you - cannot envisage production starting before Feb - hence not planning on having my DH manual before April.
Interesting about the allocations. Wonder if they'll call this MY24.5 or something like that.
I know few people here were saying how they don't want to get an early production car - and Ford Authority just had an article about the S650 July and August production numbers and quality fixes.
Basically in those 2 months they produced just over 11,500 Mustangs. That should dispel any...
