    It is 100% up to how long you are keeping the car. If you are planning on less than 200,000 drive it how ever you want the car will last with no issues. If you are keeping it long term, then that would be a different conversation.

    It does not cloud, it is wifi to your phone while in the car. And yes it does require power to be provided, I drive multiple vehicles and this camera moving between cars was simple. I chose to use the cigarette lighter power, I found no other way to power it like solar.
