Hey everyone,
The F7NA just launched, and we'd rather hear what this community thinks of it than tell you ourselves.
We're sending out 1 free unit to forum members for real-world test. You drive it, you write up what you actually think: good, bad, whatever. We don't touch your review.

What you get
  • You'll get a free dual-camera 4K dash cam worth $159 👉 F7NA 4K Dashcam
  • Remote install support if you need it
  • Priority response on any firmware issues during your two weeks
Who we're looking for
You don't need to be a reviewer or have a big following. We're just looking for people who actually drive and will write something honest when they're done.
  • Active posting history on this forum, account at least 6 months old
  • A real daily driving routine — commute, city, highway, parking, any combination
  • Willing to post a written review with photos or footage after the two weeks, at least a few solid paragraphs
Write it however you want. We're not looking for a product page, just genuine impressions from someone who used it.

What your review should cover (these are suggestions, not requirements)
  • Night and low-light footage quality — this is the feedback we're most curious about
  • How it compares to whatever you're running now
  • Wi-Fi transfer speed in practice
  • Mount stability and install experience
  • App usability
  • Anything that surprised you, positively or otherwise
How to apply
Reply to this thread with three things:
  1. What dash cam you're currently running and how long you've had it
  2. Your typical driving situation — city, highway, mostly parked, mix of all three
  3. One sentence on why you want to test this one
Deadline: May 25th ⏳

We'll DM the selected member within 3 business days of the deadline. If you don't hear from us, it means the spots went to someone else — we won't be sending individual rejections.

Only 1 unit going out, so reply sooner rather than later.

— Team Redtiger

Here's my situation, I have never had a camera, so take that into account.

  1. What dash cam you're currently running and how long you've had it
  2. Your typical driving situation — city, highway, mostly parked, mix of all three - Live in South Dakota, so cities here, well it does have them and I am in one, larger one at that 7,000 people - college town. Drives here are routinely long. I am retired, so it is all leisure driving
  3. One sentence on why you want to test this one - If you are looking for honest feedback, that you will get and it won't be "colored" by any past experience, my driving is far from urban compared to large metropolitan cities in the US.
So my feelings won't be hurt if not chosen.

Would love to test out this dashcam for you. I haven't been highly active on the forum besides reading posts, however I do have a decent following on Instagram composed of mainly car people (2687 followers) and I'd be happy to recommend your product to everyone assuming it's worth recommending. Can defibately test in all conditions as I am driving a good portion of the day.

Crap! Guess I missed the deadline. 😞

But I'll throw in anyway
Vantrue 4N Pro S about 6 months
Most use is parked and highway. I have a trip planned for the 3rd weekend in June that will be around 1400 miles one way.
I'd be interested in testing this because it looks like it might be a little smaller than what I have now, and still has the Starvis 2 chip.

Quick Honest Review – REDTIGER F7NA in my 2024 Dark Horse Mustang (and other cars)

This is my first dash cam and I specifically wanted something I could easily move between multiple vehicles without any hardwiring. The F7NA fit that need perfectly.

Installation & Portability
Super straightforward. Suction cup mount on the windshield, plug the included 12V adapter into the center console outlet, and you’re good. Took me about 15–20 minutes the first time. Because I’m moving it between cars, I’m only running the front camera for now. Removing and reinstalling in another car takes under 5 minutes — exactly what I wanted.

Daytime Video
Crystal clear. 4K footage looks excellent. License plates, road signs, and details are sharp even at highway speeds.

Night / Low-Light Performance
Picture quality at night is quite good — much better than I expected for the price. However, glare from oncoming headlights makes it difficult to read plates on cars coming toward you. Still very usable for general visibility and catching incidents.

ADAS (Lane Departure Warning)
This took a little fiddling. I had to reposition the camera a few times before the lane alert warnings started working reliably. Once I got the angle dialed in, it became useful and helped keep me more aware and in control.

Audio Recording
It records all audio inside the car. This adds another dimension… especially during spousal conflicts
😂
. Not sure if that’s a feature or a warning label.

App & File Transfer
The Wi-Fi connection to the phone worked fine with the app I downloaded. However, I found it much easier and faster to just pop the memory card into my PC using a cheap adapter. For quick checks the app is convenient, but when I actually want to review footage the SD card method is much better for me.

Other Notes
  • Fully automatic — turns on and starts recording as soon as the car has power.
  • The screen goes into a clock/screensaver mode after a minute or so, but recording continues in the background. Just tap the screen to wake it up.
  • Using it on an always-on 12V outlet has been fine for short-term use.
Overall
For the price, the F7NA is a solid performer, especially if you want something easy to move between cars. Daytime video is excellent, night vision is respectable (with the usual headlight glare limitation), and the portability is exactly what I needed. The lane departure warning is useful once you get the camera positioned correctly.

Would I buy it again? Yes — especially for someone who wants a simple, good-quality front camera without permanent installation.

Happy to answer any questions.
