Your reply is very much welcomed and based in facts. Your knowledge here is very good. One question why did the paint take so long to fully cure on my '24? It is hard to compare to other cars as many folks do not have knowledge on how to measure the thickness.

This thread kinda got side tracked. Did you get your answer? I got my '24 in February and measured the paint thickness every month. It was into September before the finish stopped shrinking on my car. The real correct answer is the paint is cured when it stops shrinking (different everywhere)...

Without it the drive is exceptional

So at $62k that's roughly $20k over a base car. Shit that is very close to what I paid for my DH. So herein lies the value drop, the $36k must disregard most of the options you acquired.

I have a '13 convert and a '24 DH both manual and i prefer them both, would never considered either car with an automatic. Yet our '71 Mach1 is an automatic and prefer that one an auto VS an antique manual.

I have the DH 700a in blue ember manual with just under 10k miles, it would take 60k+ for me even to consider parting ways and I have had it two years next week.

No car purchased should ever be considered a good investment. Enjoy the cash you spent on it, drive it for fifteen or twenty years then part ways.

I keep seeing this thread every day, funny my car has not ever "car slid off road" and I have driven it a shit ton.
