Go Australia!

From the transcript @ 11:51...

Ford Australia proved what the Cleveland could do when it wasn't strangled by emissions equipment and insurance company hysteria.

They proved it was reliable.
They proved it could make power.
They proved Ford had been sitting on a gold mine.

Today, Australian Cleveland parts, especially the closed chamber 4V heads and the 302 C heads, are some of the most soughtafter pieces in the Cleveland world.

Guys building race Cleveland's hunt for Australian castings because Ford Australia kept making the good stuff long after Ford North America gave up.

Why the 351 Cleveland Was America’s Forgotten Performance V8!

I've built 4 351 Clevelands. Awesome engine. I've always wanted a injected and supercharged Cleveland. There was a guy that used to race a Cleveland Hilborn Injected '32 T bucket at Rockford drag strip in the early 80's. He had a memory tach on it and he'd make passes and I've never heard an engine scream like that. I got to finally see what was on his tach after one of his passes: 11,500 RPM!

Nothing beats the sound of a Carby V8, That's why I prefer to watch Touring Cat Masters than the Supercars.

Enormous horsepower under the bonnet there, giant strides up mountain straight. Just listen to 351 work.....................

If you don't have goosebumps after listening to that, I'd be checking your pulse!

Great sound, he was lucky to walk away from that one.

Wish they hadn't flattened out the dipper, it was great watching the cars go through there with 2 (sometimes 3) wheels in the air
