And if the sh1t really hits the fan you can siphon one to feed the other :)
I get the same economy on mine as well, just puttering around town sucks a lot fuel (with the occasional 2/3rd squirt on a main road/motorway)
Bit of s difference between No LC and LC, great time though.
Haven't tried it myself, but in a GT I'm pretty sure the Getrag unit's famous lockout issue would scupper a good time :D
The electronic cut at redline is pretty brutal if you're not expecting it. On my car it doesn't bounce of a...
Got mine done today with its 12 mth service, no issues. Dropped off at 8:30am, picked up at 4pm.
Loan car was a 25 model auto, might just be me but I thought the auto was quite jerky shifting up and down.
Got mine booked in for 6.3.26 at a Sydney dealer and asked for a loan car just in case. They're doing the 12mth service while its there. I'll report back if there's any issues.
PPF is great for ppl like me who aren't retentive about washing and detailing their car.
Work FT, have teenage kids, and it's my only car so I like having the ability to go 4-6 weeks without washing it, and be able to park it at the shops knowing it'll probably be ok is exactly what I need...
Great sound, he was lucky to walk away from that one.
Wish they hadn't flattened out the dipper, it was great watching the cars go through there with 2 (sometimes 3) wheels in the air
I guess it comes down to whether you want your bill to go up significantly to do that.
In my industry we offshore CAD and design work to India and SE Asia cause the hrly rate is about a 1/4 of using a local. The quality is shit and needs a local to tidy it up but it helps when competing in a...
Yeah it's weird cause the Stang is only $20/month more expensive to insure than the 2009 Accord Euro it replaced (with no extras on the policy as well).
Like most things, there's plenty of "choice" in the market but only 2 or 3 corporations running them in reality
Insurance in itself is a scam...
Ok so I rang NRMA to see why they bumped my premium 60% in one go and got all the BS excuses about car being older, availability of parts etc...they wouldn't lower it, the rep just tried to carve out options or sell multi policy discounts (yeah right!!) but even then I barely put a dent in what...
Interesting article, I'm happy with the manual but do get lock out or grinding with the GetRag at high revs, I wince and cross my fingers when I'm about to push the clutch at anything over 5500rpm. I find the no lift shift feature works better in preventing this though
As an aside, during the...
Hi all,
Just got my first renewal notice from NRMA for my Stang.
These motherf#%ers are raising the premium by 60% in one year!!!
No claims, no demerits, haven't done more km than expected.
I'm considering dropping the insurance altogether, the cost can't be justified.
Reposted from another thread to keep everything in one place.
You might have to wait until they're in stock (which could be a long wait at MM).
Or take a photo to a custom wheel place and they can machine and paint/powdercoat them for you. They might have something in stock that looks the...
