Interesting statement about the ECU locking, even an aftermarket catback exhaust will trigger the engine light and it can't be turned off.

umm very interesting having a supercharger does away with the strut brace, just have to wait for a price. I need to replace my rear mufflers I keep getting fumed out of the car with the sound deader sprayed all over them sigh, would that give me an engine check light? if you migrate the same motors from the mufflers without disconnecting the cables maybe not, but I have disconnected the reversing camera and installed it into a new spoiler and that was fine.
