FYI...
https://www.vehiclerecalls.gov.au/recalls/rec-006417
Of these 452 vehicles, there are 356 Mustang VINs listed.
1FATP8L... 54 EcoBoost
1FATP8N... 302 GT Fastback
What are the defects?
Due to a programming issue, the Light Emitting Diode Driver Control Module (LDM) may fail. As a result, high beam, low beam, position lamps and daytime running lamps may not operate as intended.
What are the hazards?
Lighting features not operating as intended may reduce the driver’s visibility. Additionally, other road users may be unable to identify the vehicle in dark conditions increasing the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
Vehicles are not compliant with Australian Design Rule (ADR) 46/00 – Headlamps, ADR 47/00 – Retroreflectors, ADR 49/00 - Front and Rear Position (Side) Lamps, Stop Lamps and End Outline Marker Lamps and ADR 50/00 - Front Fog Lamps.
What should consumers do?
Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Ford Motor Company Australia asking them to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
Note: A warning message and turn signal indicator will fast flash in the instrument panel cluster.
