Got my letter today - dealer already has the kit "on order" - apparently it is colour specific, but not sure if that means the goop is colour-matched or not - just waiting to get it booked in.

My vehicle was in at the dealership (for the...4th or 5th time, heh) to fix some maintenance stuff (nothing fundamental, partly a result of a service department actually rushing and breaking something as well as not doing a job properly the first time - long story!)

The good news is that all those issues are fixed and they did the recall stuff. Seems very simple/straightforward as far as I could tell.

Mine went last Thu (12th) for the 12-month service and to get the recall taken care of. They did want to keep it overnight. They told me this before even inspecting the car, so it seemed to me like they are adding the sealant irrespective of whether they find it leaking or not.
I got the car back the next day and after careful inspection, I can't find any evidence of their work which is exactly what I wanted. Car looks perfect.

Recall still showing active in the Ford App, but I assume it will take a few weeks for the paperwork to register at Ford and the recall indicator in the app should go away.

I‘m booked in for 09.03.26 for recall. Vehicle will have sleepover so added sealant can dry. Really. Vehicle has already been in for screen/system reset for two days.
Shout out to Jarrad at “The Suspension shop”. Any owners in Western Australia who need mods, speak to Jarrad. Knows his stuff and is a pleasure to deal with.

I got my letter a few weeks ago whilst I was away o/s with work.
I'm reluctant to take it back to my dealer.
As I was dropping it off for the 12 month service last October, one of their younger technicians (guess we can't call them mechanics anymore) said "we don't get many Mustangs in...".

That does not instill a lot of confidence when it comes to a potentially messy recall fix, and I don't want to be their first guinea pig

Got mine booked in for 6.3.26 at a Sydney dealer and asked for a loan car just in case. They're doing the 12mth service while its there. I'll report back if there's any issues.

Got mine done today with its 12 mth service, no issues. Dropped off at 8:30am, picked up at 4pm.

Loan car was a 25 model auto, might just be me but I thought the auto was quite jerky shifting up and down.

Mine was done last Thursday at Motorama Ford Moorooka, in Brisbane. Clean and couldn't tell it was done. Loan car was a Ranger with 56km on the clock. I was happy to get a loaner but damn I missed being able to put my foot down for a day.
@Deano1978 The auto in mine was jerky for a little until it learnt my driving in Normal mode. Sport or track mode is where its at, totally different beast in Track mode.
