i dont think this is a matter of hidden things, i think my ability to test this may be limited by the fact i have a 24 job 1, but of the others i have tested, this may be a case where you need your IPC reprogrammed with the GTD software. im still working on figuring out the DRL one
a good idea, but no dice
interestingly, the actual property of the 100-220 section filling slower than the rest does work fine. i wonder why the actual speedometer function broke, because it seems like literally every other property from the formatting to the needle movement works perfectly
i really like this color. i like the bold colors so much, i nearly got a Mach 1 in Twister Orange (and would've swapped the appearance package calipers onto it too). now we just need a good green to come back. either Grabber Lime, Need for Green, or Eruption Green. honestly, i would even take...
for anyone who was looking to make their Mustang have the 220 MPH/360 km/h speedometer from the GTD/GT500, this thread is going to track that. as of posting this thread (May 1st, 2025), i have tested a 2024 Job 1, 2024 Job 2, 2025 Job 1, and 2025 Job 2. all of which have had the same result; the...
what that means is:
- GT Performance Package, $5,295.00
- 255/40R19 front and 275/40R19 rear summer tires
- Brembo brake calipers with performance lining (what Ford sometimes calls brake pads)
- Performance Package raised wing
- 3.73:1 Torsen rear differential
same here in the states for the most part. if a customer comes in wanting the windshield replaced, we usually have a glass company come out and do it and sublet it to the line on the RO. same thing for any other piece of fixed glass. moving glass is one we do actually replace, aside from sliding...
as the old saying goes, a fool and their money are easily parted. this is a perfect example. really only interesting if you are stuck in the early 2000s "JDM with a widebody and underglow" era. not compatible with performance mods, only visual
$1500 for a single wheel is crazy to me. hope they never catch fire, because magnesium is the stuff that burns bright and they use to set off thermite, plus its near impossible to put out. anyways, thats a nice looking Super Snake. dont think i have seen one in Race Red before
you would need to check with the company you bought the warranty with. some cover mods, some dont. if this is an extended warranty you bought at a Ford dealer, its likely only gonna cover factory parts. warranty is already complex, but stacking them like this makes it so much more confusing...
the reason why you are having a hard time is because that is an engineering number. i looked up that engineering base number using my DH VIN and found this for that harness: PR3Z-2C011-E. due to the fact every DH has Magneride, and only the DH has the differential cooler, if that is the correct...
let me just jump in and say that adding adaptive cruise control requires adding a cruise control module, which connects to the engine bay wiring harness. i dont know if vehicles without adaptive cruise control have the connector for it or not, but if not, that means buying a $900 engine bay...
i did some digging and here is what i found about the warranty on the supercharger kit for stage 1:
- there is a warranty on the supercharger kit's parts for 3 years or 36,000 miles/60,000 kilometers, whichever comes first
- there is a powertrain warranty that is for 3 years or 36,000...
for some reason, this seems to a random issue that fixes itself. i had it myself, but it went away after i did an SCCM self-test. @Bluember24 had this issue and brought it to my dealer, but it went away on its own and the tech never saw the issue
dont count on tuning anytime soon. the 2024+ Mustang is what is called a "FNV" or Full Networked Vehicle, which is also what allows it to participate in OTA updates. the 2024 Mustang, along with the 2024 F-150, 2025 Expedition, 2025 Explorer, and other new Ford vehicles also have a new problem...
i have not worked with Whipple, but from what a co-worker of mine who has has said, they are alright to deal with. i will ask him on Monday and report back. my dealer has installed 3 or 4 Ford Performance Whipple kits and have heard no issues about them, plus you really have to outright abuse...
Feral Industries has proven to be non-responsive and unable to even ship the products they sell. Anderson Composites is more expensive, but a very reputable company and has three different styles of splitter to choose from...
here is where i will keep a list of notable electrical hardware revisions

Tail lights are now using a different connector and pinning
