I think what's lost in all the commotion is that order banks for the convertible SC open up in the fall. If anyone was concerned about whether their car was going to be produced or not, or was on the fence about an order, there is your answer. You have at least another month, provided you're not aiming/slotted for a Dark Horse HP or SC.

That's perfect... not sure I want a convertible again... Ford making it very hard to keep my money.

I'd guess that's an SC-specific feature. The 5.0 Dark Horse doesn't have it, and anything less than that doesn't get AVE or MR as standard.

At least they arent trying to make it a track car. But thats a pretty expensive Grand Touring car. I can't but wonder how well these are going to sell, and what it means for the future of regular DH cars.

I'm going to say ... 175 or 300kph(186). I'd be concerned about high speed stability and you know Ford Corp lawyers are too.
