Interesting that you can feel it in the shift knob. I’ve not heard that before. I have an auto (which came 1.5 quarts low on trans fluid from the factory as an FYI @Ford Motor Company and there’s lots of others over on 6G with the same issue). Sounds like maybe there’s an issue with the trans if you’re feeling the tick in the shifter?
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I'd actually say it really sounds more like a rod knock, except that it goes away as soon as I rev the motor and a rod knock just get louder as engine speed increases. I changed the oil today and saw no metal or glitter. so there's that.

Hmm, that’s odd. At least there’s no metal in the oil. The Tremec is a really solid trans too. Is the fluid low in your trans by chance? I’ve not seen that issue on 6G for the manuals but I don’t follow the manual trans stuff as much.

I didn't check the fluid in the transmission but it couldn't hurt

Hello and a warm welcome @Ford Motor Company - I think I can speak for the majority of us that we are stoked about the Gen7 and hope to have the V8 at least for another 7 years until Gen8 comes out.

One question that I have is: Are the recaros really without the heating and cooling options (as shown in the price guide) or was that a print mistake? Since we have seen these features in some of the test cars back from the launch in September, we'd assumed it would be available. It is long overdue!

Been a fan of the Mustang all my life, I've owned an SN95, currently own a 1965, and have a reservation at my dealership for the 24 GT. Very excited, and I love what you guys have done with the Mustang! Especially happy about you guys keeping the V8, and working on finding a low-emission gas alternative!

i remember us being abandoned in 2015/16. The last message was like we're leaving but another rep would replace us. Then silence.
😂 I remember this! I was under a different name, but my 2015 was delivered in 2014 and the forum reps actually did help me get my seat covers replaced under warranty due to unusually defined 🍑 prints, before the team phased out

Welcome @Ford Motor Company . Nice to have you with us.

Something all of us would appreciate, regardless of the generation or MY we own, is Mustang production insight. We love statistics. MY, # made, options selected, colors chosen, etc. We'd really appreciate publishing this data as soon as it's feasible. Many have been waiting years to confirm with official data what they have taken on as their personal projects. Thanks. And again, welcome. :like:

Yup, I was just hoping they would reply and say as much. My 2017 did not do this
A Social media team isn't going to do much and won't get into specifics about issues. All they will do is what they did in the past several years ago when they were on the forums... forward your complaint to a CSM which will then call you to create a case to work with your dealer on a repair.

FOMOCO can you please make the 2024 GT colors also available on the DH to increase the color selection? When the Mach 1 came out all we got here at dealers on the east coast gray, white and black cars. Looks like all the fun colors were in Texas and Florida. Also could you make the manual TREMEC a 5K option on the GT please?
