Found the videos on Youtube, thanks. Where did you get the VBF files from?

Any quirks with when the headlights are on or when you want to use the turn signals or hazards? When you do this with the broncos, it stops the hazards from working and the turn signal functionality is all messed up.

DRLs work fine with the headlights on, they stay the same.

With the hazards on or when using turn signals it’s slightly different than factory. The amber LEDs never completely turn off, they just go from dim to bright. But they keep their sequential functioning and work fine.

Did this yesterday with some help from OP and tested all different signals and headlight low/high beams afterwards, all works great.

If it's not too much trouble, could you post a video showing the above situations so people can see? TIA and great job!

Videos/photos attached.

1) Hazards on with car turned off (DRLs turn off/on completely)
2) Hazards on with car turned on (DRLs go from dim to bright)
3) Turn signal on with car running (DRLs dim to bright sequentially)
4) Photo of DRLs with low beams on

If anyone needs help, or the files, Jared Jones, VaporGT5.0, and myself run a discord that has the necessary files you need, but the files, videos, and documentation we make are supposed to stay in Discord.

The reason for this is not to gatekeep. I pull a lot of VBFs using my FDRS account for the Amber DRLs in addition to VBFs for troubleshooting and fixing issues with the cars. If this gets back to Ford, my account can get banned (and already has..... twice). I just don't want to get a perma ban.

If anyone would like an invite, shoot me a PM. We would love to have people and expand the community/share knowledge. There are a lot of knowledgeable people already in the discord (quite a few from this Forum). We are more than happy to help where we can!

The catch with this is you have to complete the entire process or there may be issues. For some, not flashing the HCM has caused issues where the lights don't turn off, or you get DTCs that you can't clear.

So from what I can tell this completely does not use the white LEDs anymore at all? Looks like it functions as a car that doesn't even have white LEDs, just amber dim/bright for every function of the tri-beam DRL bar

Essentially, yes. The white DRLs turn Amber. There are two different ways it can be done. If you use the DH SC files, you get Amber DRLs and Amber Grille lights. If you use the GTD files, you get the Amber DRLs and the Grille lights are extinguished. Your actual headlights are unchanged.

It looks great, and I'm handy with Forscan, but this procedure looks complicated.

It’s really not. It’s 10 minutes of your time start to finish once you sit down with the computer. The entire video is 13 minutes long.

I use Forescan as well. I have done quite a few mods on the Bronco and Raptors. I am slightly confused about the file needed. To change Amber on a Bronco, you just edit the file. From the YouTube vid I watched, you need to load some other file to make this work. Also, the whole Gen1 and Gen 2 build.....So is that by year? Or build date?

I never messed with my other Mustangs with Forescan so I do not have anything to go by.
