I didn't realize notice the additional weight after my SC install. OEM springs, not lowered.
I recommend getting the Ford Performance Whipple. Install should be between $2k (low) - $4k (high). Any certified performance shop can do this for you while maintaining your warranty, plus they can...
I'm seeing this also for my 26DH. Looks like the wiper recall can be resolved (didn't pay attention). Will wait for this engine harness to be available also, and do both recalls at the same time.
No one pays $83k for a GT unless it's a RTR. $88k for a DH is fully loaded.
Yeah, Mustangs are expensive but I agree that paying over $50k for an Ecoboost is a silly investment.
I would love for people to mistake my whippled dark horse for an ecoboost. Should be fun! No hard feelings about your post, honestly didn't realize that this particular look can be ordered on the Ford website. My interest for this particular look got triggered by this 2026 Mustang RTR Spec 2...
I mean, you can configure the Ecoboost with RTR styling correct. And yes, I actually like this styling a lot (as you can see on my car). If that somehow reflects an Ecoboost-vibe, I'm totally cool with that. You're the first one who points this out, and it doesn't bother me one bit. I wish Ford...

To each his own, I guess.
The whole proces is actually pretty simple. Removing the liner is a few push clips. Locating the screw is a bit of a pita but it’s marked in grey. Check my previous posts.
And I did another thing. I installed a RTR-like decal on my top rear leading up to the spoiler. Color matches the DH OEM front decal, and styling my side bottom decals.
2026 DH owner here. Search my posting history for extensive information but TLDR:
- rears will pop right out
- fronts have screws in 2026 models. You will need to remove the liner and use a camera to locate the screw, remove the screw. You can then push it out. No need to re-use the screw.
Hope...
Never liked the grabber blue calipers with Adriatic Blue, so I am taking action.
Took me a long time to decide, but red it is since it looks fantastic on the RTR Adriatic Blue models. Considered white or black Brembo decals but settled on silver. Will post pictures of the finished product (with...
