@MCS, copy all. I attempted the rears using the "established" method: removing fender liner and that top screw for the bumper. But, for the life of me, I couldn't separate the side of the bumper to get at the top retaining clip. Hence, my interest in what looks like a vastly simpler (perhaps just as safe) procedure. I'll look at the fronts tomorrow.

Roger. Let us know how your experience goes. I've had these sitting in a box for two weeks until I had the time to get around to them and that video method appears super simple. Otherwise I'll have to jack the car up in my driveway and start peeling back panels which I'm not a super fan of doing; especially with the fender flares in the front.

Will do. And, yeh, not looking forward to tackling those rears, again. I suspect the fronts will pop out as detailed in the Murphy's Law vid. We'll see.

Aside, I would welcome some first-hand input from LMR on their experience with the 26 DH.

2026 DH owner here. Search my posting history for extensive information but TLDR:
- front will pop right out
- rears have screws in 2026 models. You will need to remove the liner and use a camera to locate the screw, remove the screw. You can then push it out. No need to re-use the screw.

Thanks for that. Although I am a 2024 dark horse owner and it seems like there are some differences between the two but the gentleman above is also a 2026 like you so that post may help him more.

As @MCS stated, I'm in a 26. I have an endoscopic camera which may suit that purpose. But, ugh, not looking forward to that at all. Curious, do you have an idea where the screw is located (upper, lower end, or in the middle)? Ask because I was able to get a finger in and braille'd over what felt like a screw top (maybe phillips)--IDK...thought I was imagining things.

The whole proces is actually pretty simple. Removing the liner is a few push clips. Locating the screw is a bit of a pita but it’s marked in grey. Check my previous posts.

I may be confusing things, but your original post indicates the fronts have screws. But, here you mentioned it is the rears that have screws. Which is which?
