I bought LED Side Markers for my car, and most videos have them pop-out with ease. The rears popped right out as expected. However, I couldn't get the front ones to come out. At all. So I went the 'official' way to remove the fender liner. I found out the front 2 actually are screwed in (no wonder they didn't pop-out). Not sure if this is for 2026 models, but I figured to share this here.

Top picture is the back of the OEM side marker, taken from inside the fender. Bottom picture is the screw.

I just did my 24…. (Form lighting) and mine popped out but it sure wasn’t as easy at the video. I had to remove the fender liners. They have a squeeze clip. The rear were the worst only because of the screws coming out towards the tires. Just not enough room. I had an assortment of angled extensions to get to them.

Diode Dynamics has a good install video for their side markers
Yes, I followed that video. But the front ones didn't want to pop-off so I discovered the screw doing it the long way.

I think the screw for the front reflector lights is new for 2026. Haven't seen that anywhere in a video. The rears popped right out without removing the fender liners.

My 24 popped out. No screws
Yep. I think this is either a 2026 change OR DH specific.

By the way, love the lights, worth every penny!

Going to do the rear lights soon (need to get under the car for it).

Yep. There was nothing about a screw in the Form video. Just did mine 2 weeks ago.

I did the reverse light with a 4th brake light also. It was easier, just more 7mm screws.

Man, I was about to pull the liner off as well. I appreciate this content. I also have a 2026 DH and I was able to do the rears but the front ones gave me a hard time. I was getting ready to pull the liner to see if I can pull them out from the back as I did not know there possibly might be a screw. Did you have to screw it back in once you put the new lights in? I went with the Form Lighting LED, so hopefully I can get the front ones put in thanks to your input. I appreciate it.

My pleasure helping others since I learned so much here. The liner in the front comes off super-easy, really not a big deal. I didn’t put the screw back in since the new lights seem secure. I did save these screws though (I have the habit of keeping smaller OEM items in the spare wheel area), just in case.

My point exactly, after I watched an install video, I said to myself, I might as well get the others too

You can reach the clip holding the rears in without removing the liner, reach up from up under the car, through the square frame thing in the bumper and you can feel at least ONE side of the squeeze clip, push the one side of the clip you can while doing the (taped) and pry method from the outside and it pops out easy. The fronts just turn tire, remove the (4) liner clips, reach in squeeze clip bingo, no pry at all.
