Anyone please help me lol. Was in the middle of changing the DRL brightness on a job 1 DH under BCM as built and my laptop randomly went from 90% to 0% in the middle of programming it. I re programmed the BCM with the as built file that I downloaded prior to initiating the change and the welcome lighting sequence still isn’t working. Anyone know what I need to do to fix it?
check to make sure this is actually enabled if you haven't already. Only thing I can think of based off of what you wrote besides reprogramming again

They started working again once driven and plugged into a charger. I think it went into low power mode after reprogramming a bunch. Thank you for your help though man.

Has anyone figured out how to get the ipc gauges from the GTD or the new dark horse yet?
I would love to be able to do this, even get the original dark horse IPC over. I’m wondering if I just need to flash the module, but don’t want to brick.

I believe the original dark horse is no different than a GT. Why? I don’t know ford was lazy I guess lol. If I’m missing something anybody is welcome to correct me (please do)

Pretty sure the regular dark horse is the logo in startup instead of the car.
Ah, thought you meant the 3d model. You can do that already in the easy mode with forscan for both screens

I’ve got the infotainment side set right, but can’t figure out the instrument cluster.

On another note, is there a reason nobody shares the VBF files in the forum? Would it be a breach of the rules? I have the files, but FDRS doesn't add the .vbf extension. 99% sure that they are right, just don't have a way to directly verify them prior to distribution.

Under the IPC easy mode you should see a Splash Screen option. Choose Splash Screen #2 and you should get it

Personally I haven’t posted them publicly because I have no clue about the legality of the files being in the open. Not a lawyer and not trying to get myself in trouble that way lol.

I can’t see you getting in any kind of trouble for that. Ford wouldn’t allow FORScan to be accessible to the public if that were the case. Now it would be different if FORScan wasn’t available to the public and you somehow stole the files from ford and released them.

FORScan isn't a Ford product, it was developed by a group of folks in Russia to my understanding.

I believe you are correct, but in the beta versions, you can readily pull the software for your vehicle and update/reinstall your modules. I think that part is what he was talking about since you don’t have to authenticate, nor does it log to the vehicle like it does in FDRS.

Eventually I’ll try and look into the legality of these files if no one releases them beforehand. I’m sure it isn’t that big of a deal but I just want to be safe haha
