Yeah, ironically I guess S650 was designed before the Mach E.............it was meant to be here over 2 years ago.

I'm sure it'll be worth the wait......

That's my guess too, when the Mach-E was in the design process we can be pretty sure the S650 design was already nailed down and was schedueled for release in 2020. None of the "Mustang references" sketches in the presentation are a S550, so we can be pretty sure they are referencing to S650 - Of course there could be minor adjustments to the S650 with all the delays

Another interesting one from the video. Whatever they meant with "current design language" definitely looks not like S550 but more like what S650 should go for

I think you have a valid point, if they were going to just copy the mustangs design onto the mach-e, it would make more sense to apply the new s650 design, rather than applying the relatively old s550 design to your flagship ev.

I really hope that kind of surfacing appears on the s650. It looks modern,sleek, and muscular at the same time.

Agreed.......which is why I think I like the latest orange render so much. To me, its very similar, although I prefer the Evo/Mondeo inspired headlamps on the orange one.......but I'll take the lower and side intakes from the silver one

This is Good Too, but Still Want to See the Grill Inset, or Recessed More, Typical of Mustang. And the Bumper Coverless Hood Will Help with Alignment Problems and be Cleaner. Not really interested in a Rear Fender Crease.

I wouldn't mind it if they looked like the Nissan Z240 or occupied 3x the vertical space of the 'slit' ones. Slits are not sexy, they are impractical and defeat the point of freaking headlights which is maximum illumination.
