I was at my local Ford Dealership and saw my very first 7th gen Mustang. It was a shadow black GT. I have to say it does look better than the pictures, although the black color really blends everything together in a way that hides some of the design accents. I really wish ford would have used the hood and front fascia design on the 2018 refresh as it it more appealing. The headlights are still a struggle for me, don't like the individual square panels. The digital dash actually looks good; I had these initial impressions of ipads stuck to the dash, but it actually blends well. The back end is where I struggle, not really liking the short choppy design, but maybe it will grow on me. I also saw a convertible on the street in my area and I have to say they look really good. The overall footprint looks smaller, but maybe that is an optical illusion.
Not going to part with my 350 anytime soon and don't know if I will ever warm up to the all digital dash, but they did just enough to keep the mustang look.
