IIRC, 480ish for the GT, Targeting 500 for the Dark Horse
In previous launches Ford did not announce the final specs for HP/Torque until shortly before the actual sell date, within 1 month. I would expect the same here.

Does anyone know if the regular GT comes with an engine oil cooler or is that only the Dark Horse?

Pretty sure regular GT has an oil cooler now. (Engine coolant cooled) The Dark Horse should have the better air/oil cooler from the GT350/Mach1

I meant air/oil cooler. That's what they said in the reveal unless they're being sneaky and they just meant the silly coolant/oil cooler again.

As far as I know they said "oil cooler". I hope it's the good one but I personally doubt it. They can be replaced easily enough though. My question is will the ECM truly be locked? That will make tunes and mods a lot more expensive. E-85 may not even an option in Gen 7.

Ahh yes. Hot coolant to cool hot oil. Only the finest. Just install an aftermarket one

Did Ford seriously just drop that POS Getrag that they’re being sued over into the last combustion engine Mustang? Was hoping for the 3160, but of course that’s in the DH.

Lets hope it’s not the MT-82.
The suit is about pre-2019 version of the M-82. Its almost like ya know... things have revisions. Show me threads of people with a 19+ with MT-82 issues. You'll barely find any. You'll find more cases of 19+ GT350 engines that have issues than you will 19+ MT-82 issues.

Good to know. Thank you for the education. I’ll look into it more

Hmmm this is really close the s550. I’m wondering how many of the s550 chassis parts will work on this new s650. Not going to lie, not a fan of the rear design or the front BUT this dark horse edition is seriously got me considering trading my fully loaded 20 PP1 for a fully loaded dark horse 10 speed 🥴🤦🏼‍♂️ The Dark Horse appears to have 350 brake set up right?
The GT PP1 package seems to have 4 piston rears also.

According to the specs, the 5.0L now measures as a 307 cubic inch V8 not as a 302 cubic inch engine V8. I had that 307 V8 in my new 1971 Camaro.
The current Gen 3 Coyote is a 307ci (5038cc). The bore was increased from the Gen 2 which was a 302.

It's been 307 since the 2018 model year (Gen 3 Coyote) when they went to the Plasma Transfer liner stuff.

Mustang should beat the Camaro. I know the European mustangs aren’t as powerful as the American mustangs tho.
Point of interest, the Mustang was a 5.0L while the Camaro SS is a 6.2L. As former Pro Stock guy Bob Glidden once said, "you can't beat cubes".

No. Current mustang is 5038cc and when you convert cc to ci, is 307.438
True. The current 5.0L is 307 CID; the old 5.0L which was 302 CID was actually a 4.9L, but I guess 4.9 on the fender doesn't look as cool 5.0 does.

As long as the dark horse has the Stop and Go finally. And the Adaptive Cruise Control. I will feel fine buying it as my weekend car.
