yet more info i found on ECat, might not be as many points this time, it's getting hard to find things new that people might actually care about
1. oil pump seems to be a new part (starts with PR3Z), wonder if they fixed the issue with them shattering when hitting the rev limiter? it's only ~$100
2. short blocks are ~$3200 and long blocks are ~$6200 for the Coyote
3. new flywheel for the manual transmissions
4. for some weird reason, manual transmission PCMs are $100 cheaper than automatic transmission ones
5. looks like EcoBoosts have a new air filter (part starts with PR3Z)
6. Ford's internal systems are just as janky as the stuff they make for public use
7. Ford officially calls the resonator the "front muffler"
8. diagrams of the speaker setups

My 2020 w/sub in the trunk is not a great system, I hope they've improved. My 2018 sounds a lot better with just an added 850 watt amp and a 10" sub.

Don't know if this was already posted but ford has changed the camshafts. They also now have seals.

@roket, do you see any parts availability to replace the center stack switches between the auto start/stop and the one with a blank spot in the first position?

All of the latest press GTs have had a blank spot that’s going to bug me.

without start/stop button: PR3Z-18C858-BA
be warned, it's a $380 part

I think he was thinking aftermarket which will allow for individual switches to move instead of the entire assembly when you press a button. If he didn’t mean that, I do. Someone needs to develop something a little more classy

yeah, i dont know why they did that. the new Transits and Escapes have a panel just like it and it works the same way, but it sometimes really iffy. i have had times where the buttons wouldn't respond unless i poked it with a pen

Great lol. Not sure why the title switches were axed. They just scream American Muscle

couldn't tell you, but i will not miss the drive mode being on a one-way switch, there have been too many times where i overshoot the drive mode and have to circle around multiple times. i'll like having the favorite button, and i wonder how Ford got away with that hazard button? AFAIK, it is federally required to be a physical button. replacing them is a nightmare, too, as it requires buying a new FCIM, which is a part anywhere from $600-$1000, and is a bunch of stuff (volume and tuning knob, heated/cooled seat buttons, push-up switches, start/stop button), so at least this button panel is a step forward in one aspect

I’ve got a non-PP GT on order. Preferably would like the DH spoiler, but would take a black PP spoiler too. Are either available on the catalog?

I would think twice about a darkhorse wing on a non-pp GT.
Thats just me tho, I dont like the idea of bringing body panels over from higher trimmed models.

It's only a matter of time before people are driving ecoboosts with aftermarket DH front fascias anyway

yep, but it's a pretty penny.
For the DH HP, PR3Z-6344210-EB is the base wing for $2874.15, and PR3Z-6344210-AB is the gurney flap for $1126.97.
For the GTPP, PR3Z-6344210-CA is the wing for $2370.97, not including the cost to paint it.
