Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Package Limited Edition Draws on Classic Style of 1965 Original

It's OK, definitely not enough to get me to even start considering parting with my 50 year appearance package. Very surprised that they did nothing with the seats... that is one of my favorite aspects of the 50year.

    2024 GT ETA for pick-up July 10th

Have not read the whole thread, but ETA are highly volatile. For example, our Fusion that we ordered in 2015 sat on a Ford lot getting inspected (bad headlights) for 2 months, and then sat at a train station in Eastern WA for over a week. That is completely outside of Ford's control and they...

    7G S650 GT350 ?

Everything said here. The 5.2 FPC is a special motor IF it has the reliability to back it up. Would love to see Ford invest in this, but unfortunately do not see it happening.

What are your thoughts on the interior of the S650? Specifically the screens

You can like it all you want, but your opinion does not trump mine where my preferences are concerned... I prefer things to flow and integrate naturally, not be stuck on like an afterthought. The subject is about the interior design, not the performance. I am sure it will perform very well, no...

What are your thoughts on the interior of the S650? Specifically the screens

Unfortunately it is probably not going to happen. Another related point, the current line of infotainment is designed for the current crop of mobile technology, but what happens when that technology evolves (faster than the car tech)? I enjoy the connectivity of the integrated Android Auto, if...

What are your thoughts on the interior of the S650? Specifically the screens

To me, this looks terrible. I am OK with screens to an extent but to just stick them on there and not integrate seamlessly into the dash just does not work. I think this will provide a more seamless transition between the IC and the electric one from an interior design perspective which may be...

What are your thoughts on the interior of the S650? Specifically the screens

Yeah, no mechanical cable connection, it is all electronic.

S650 GT Convertible | Miami International Auto Show (pics + vids)

I concur, excellent job and crafty getting yourself inside the ropes! I would agree that it is growing more than not on me, even though I am settled in keeping my '15 regardless. The grill in photos looks better in gloss than it appeared it would in the first leaks, though I still am...

2024 Mustang (S650) Specs Sheet / Technical Data

In previous launches Ford did not announce the final specs for HP/Torque until shortly before the actual sell date, within 1 month. I would expect the same here.

When do you think the S650 will be revealed?

I do have to admit that I am benefitting from the recent uptick in value especially for used cars. Someone rear-ended my 50th APP convertible, causing over $17k in damage. Because the used car market is so hot, it is fixable instead of a total. Thankfully the damage is not to the frame, which...

When do you think the S650 will be revealed?

At launch, the S550 was well under $50k, if I recall you did not eclipse $50k except with the 50th LE and the GT350. Base GT was low $30k and premium was high $30k, fully loaded around $46-47k if I recall correctly... Obviously price increases have pushed it there, but sales have precipitously...

S650 Mustang GT Full Frontal Leak!! 📸

Exactly! I loved the 2005 and 2015 at first sight! The 2010/2011 design was a step backward in my view, and the 2013 was a step forward again. The 2018 refresh was very neutral, but a slight step backwards from the original s550. This one does not do it for me.

S650 Mustang GT Full Frontal Leak!! 📸

This is very good and bad for me. I kinda like the lower fascia, but the grill opening with what seems to be a bezel looks terrible in my view. Will have to see the whole car, but for me I will not plan on selling my 2015 which I still love to get this.

My Stang with lowering springs just installed two weeks ago. The improvement in handling is amazing! Way more predictable mid-corner.

“Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

I don't buy into the argument that EV are "faster than ICE" either. Sure, that is fine. But driving is the experience. I like to row my own gears and hear the authentic engine rev. If someone else is capable of getting from A to B faster than me, not a problem for me. I will enjoy the trip.

Mustang S650 Design Previewed by ‘Progressive Energy In Strength’ Sculpture

Yes!! I loved the S197 from day 1 as well, but also love the S550 (2015) which is why it was ordered so early, perfect evolution of muscle and style in my opinion. If the S197 had the IRS and interior of the '15 then I may have ended up with an end of production one of those instead. Not a...

S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

To be clear, I am not against Ford making a two seater, or even making a version of the Mustang that is a two seater (extending it to a performance brand rather than a model, which they seem intent to do). But the Mustang lineup should include something that is capable of transporting 4, even...

S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

There are many people that use the back seats. You are arguing from your specific experience to the general. Mustang in its current form sells well compared to the smaller and lighter Camaro partly because it is more livable. Through the past 5 years and 50,000 miles, my backseat (and trunk...
