Sell Vs Trade for S650

My original plan was to trade my weekend car in on an S650. Used car prices are dropping. I get the feeling the bottom might fall out. Currently considering getting out before they tank more. Anyone have thoughts? I'd also be big sad being without a weekend car for what could very well be nearly a year (fully expecting the cars to not arrive until September). I'm sure a few people are in a similar scenario. Pretty torn.

The state sales tax in Alabama is only 2%.

I hear you, and I'm in a similar boat, although I was thinking of holding out for a hi-po model.

With that said, if you're set on getting the first model year and are fine with a GT, DH, whatever, then hell yea, sell it now. You're probably not going to see the same money on that car as you will now.

Dealers are still paying more than private markets.
Very very few private sales actually happening.

Take advantage of deep pocketed dealers imho.

I keep a cheap commuter car. I ended up picking up a used mach 1 back at the end of January. Not sure how to delete posts. Appreciate the feedback though!
