Back to the original topic, it's hood flutter and due to the hood being made of aluminum. We had a 2018 Accord that also had an aluminum hood and it too would flutter at highway speeds. It was a bit un-nerving at first, but then I didn't pay attention to it after a while. I noticed the flutter on the Mustang a week after buying it. When I lifted the hood at the dealer when buying the car, I noticed how light it was and the dealer confirmed it was Aluminum.

I have a 2024 ecoboost and darkhorse, and on both I’ve noticed at 60mph+ the hood will move up and down or maybe buckle a bit. I went to Sebring last week with the DH and I had thought the latch didn’t shut all the way and had to go back to pit road to check. And when I did it was fine. Wondering if yall have noticed the same thing. Thanks
I adjusted the bumper stops and my car has been "very well north of 90" repeatedly. No problems with it now. I guess not all cars are the same.

It doesn't have anything to do with it being aluminum. Adjust the bumpers as previously mentioned in this thread.

The lighter aluminum hoods tend to show the flutter as I've not had a car with a heavier steel hood show any flutter. Seems the weight helps to keep the hood from showing flex. Thanks, and I will check the stops on the hood to make sure that are snugged up to the hood.

I have had my vert up to as much as 145, only once, but many times over 100. I have not noticed any hood flutter. Glenn

It's both alu and aerodynamics, adjusting the stoppers will help but will not eliminate the "issue" (that is more a "visual" issue than a real problem). Above 150km/h start to be really visible, more you speed, more it looks like it wants to fly off. :)
You can also notice how the vibration will change according to the vehicle preceding you.

It's the same with S550 (that I previously had) and S650 (DH) I own now. It scares you initially, then you get used of it.

PS: yeah, I ad the stoppers fully adjusted on both.

You definitely get used to it; it's just a distraction at 100+ mph, even in our peripheral vision.

I think I've mentioned it already in some previous posts.. but that thing scares my passengers, even my gf (she should get used of it, since the S550) time to time asks to me: "is that normal...." (again) ..she doesn't trust and really think one day it'll come off.

What I think accentuates it is the raised styling lines either side of the hood that are in your peripheral vision. It looks like they are the edge of the hood that is moving

I drove my Mustang right at 400 hwy. miles yesterday, sometimes slow, sometimes definitely not. No hood flutter whatsoever at any speed. Not all cars are the same apparently. I just know mine doesn't do it after adjusting the stops.

No flutter is not normal or wanted.

Mine fluttered pretty badly when I first got it, it was really noticeable cruising down the interstate at 80 and passing a truck.

I adjusted the stops out to where the hood would not close then turned them in a 1/4 turn til the hood closed and now my hood is flutter free to 170.

I don't think I would've tried a high speed run with mine fluttering as bad is was.

I think another factor is the wind. I've noticed the hood dance going fast on windy days. With that said, sounds like it's worth giving the stops another go (u know what I mean). However, from prior adjustments, the front of my hood sits lower than the plastic piece that sits above the grill assembly.

If adjusting the stoppers isn't enough to do the trick, adjusting the hood latch will... you shouldn't have to "get used to it"... it is poor panel alignment, just fix it and make it right! (or have the dealer do it if it's beyond your skill level).
