I guess it happened when the current settings aren't being uploaded remotely. So far (as of me) they are all preserved (I mean the ForScan mods) except for the color settings (dashboard), do you have any example of which one aren't preserved?
It's quite the opposite, this is because of suicide politics applied by the EU. Not only the imported cars costs a lot more here (and that's since 20 years.. it has nothing to do with Trump), but also because we driven our own industry to fail in the name of a idiotic and unsustainable "green...
It may have changed, as of now I've found some of my mods there (because I had few updates between), then made some changes recently (weeks ago) and they didn't hit the server until today (as I mentioned in the first post), so I'm pretty confident that that's how it works, and it makes sense...
If you receive a new OTA update, the current settings are sent to the server (no matter if the update is applied to the vehicle or not).
Did you experienced the website to not reflect the current settings right after an OTA update has been received?
I don't wanna be that one (and OT..), but how the price of this car (that I agree is beautiful) is justified VS a supercharged GT or DH? Is it because of "collection" value?
Oh and if anyone is curious about what update I just received, It's this: ABS-24.12.0
https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-11006019-0001.pdf
apparently a almost year old update, I don't know why I got it only now.. maybe because of the EU market.
If you received an update today, your AsBuilt data should be updated as mine (what we discussed early in the thread): https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/confirmation-asbuilt-data-is-uploaded-to-the-remote-servers-right-before-an-update.167374/
To contextualize what's this about. Ford has a database of our cars settings named "AsBuilt", accessible here: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/
As mentioned already in other thread, the name suggest that those values are "As Built", so the factory settings, static and useful to revert...
What do you expect them to say? "I'm gonna modify an important safety accessory in my car.. what happens if the dark horse emblem will be casted into my right eye plus head at 80mph?" :D
I doubt they would conduct any test (or at least in the way they should be conducted) to get approved, they are very expensive, even for the car manufacturers.
There could be also implication with the insurance if something bad happen (even if it's not related specifically to that part) and...
As others have mentioned, don't play with airbag panels, changing them with non-OEM parts or by modifying them. You gonna potentially risk your life (and it's not an exaggeration).
This was on mine. Possibly different frequency and also the car need the above module (mine had already the remote start via Ford app):

I was talking about something beeping every time the led turns on, it would be super annoying.
I believe we have a similar (audible) thing when you open the door and a car is approaching.
It was there before (in my Bullitt at least), and now that you reminded me, we also lost the light in the cup holders, that was very convenient, because it's where I place my gate remote. :)
