The first post is partially wrong. Some updates (as someone suggested) DOESN'T send back the data to the server before the update. I suspect the difference is about the update type (ie: minor updates).
I've experienced this with the most recent update: 24-PU0201-DGB-FX - It didn't sent back my...
You.. I had the Bullitt for 5 years and didn't spotted ONE during the whole 5 years driving between Italy and Spain (while in Italy was a limited serie: only 68 registered and sold). :inspect:
What you don't understand is that while your opinion is equivalent to mine, because none of us will know for sure, unless someone from Ford will confirm how the software works; what I've highlighted is that there's the POSSIBILITY of something "bad" happening, based on a logical deduction; while...
It's features available on modern cars that any car enthusiast would know. You don't need to be an "engineer". Pre-tensioning and airbag deployment works in combination with the seatbelt sensor (fastened), seat occupied and pre-collision sensors (when available).
If you mess with such sensors...
If you know how the airbags and sealt pre-tensioning works in a modern car, you would know that the earlier concerns are a facts, while being hit by a giant meteor is not. :)
The point is that the airbags and seatbelts pre-tensioning MAY operates differently (or do not operate at all) according to the passenger presence (on a seat) and if the passenger is wearing the seatbelt. There's no evidence of this assumption, but it's how the modern safety features works. All...
Lol, mine is 320Km to E (Kilometer, not miles) when I do a full refuel, but I do less than 300Km until empty. Mixed roads, but mostly fast roads (highways and such).
Nope, for a certain amount of time (for me it's around 30 minutes I think?). You can set a range via ForScan if I'm not wrong, however it couldn't be 24/7.
Must be the setup, he's over-braking in slow corners, he doesn't seem to drive "at the limit" (that would make sense for the first set of lap times). I believe that overall the GTD has more than this.
They also censored the max speed 🤭 (or the gps going crazy for some reason)
I've found that it depends of where you cut the stock pipes, if you cut em at the "exact" length (not leaving much space), the join won't "bend" and they'll sit perfectly horizontal.
Far south west, you'll be away from the continental part, it depends of what you're looking for... however the climate is awesome, and anything next to the coast will be nice.
It's always good to do backups, however neither ForScan backups, nor saving the AsBuilt tables would be the definitive solution: ForScan backups will preserve the current state (to revert everything you need to go step by step backward and do it manually, remembering what you changed); AsBuilt...
But this forum (and post) is about the S650 Mustangs. Do we have anyone who have lost their ForScan (mods) after an update or anyone who didn't found their settings uploaded to the server right before an update?
I guess it happened when the current settings aren't being uploaded remotely. So far (as of me) they are all preserved (I mean the ForScan mods) except for the color settings (dashboard), do you have any example of which one aren't preserved?
It's quite the opposite, this is because of suicide politics applied by the EU. Not only the imported cars costs a lot more here (and that's since 20 years.. it has nothing to do with Trump), but also because we driven our own industry to fail in the name of a idiotic and unsustainable "green...
It may have changed, as of now I've found some of my mods there (because I had few updates between), then made some changes recently (weeks ago) and they didn't hit the server until today (as I mentioned in the first post), so I'm pretty confident that that's how it works, and it makes sense...
