Car and Driver also supposedly "confirmed" with Ford pricing, but it's different prices.
supposedly the basemodel is $108,485 and the track pack is $144,985, but no word on the track pack special edition. given these are different numbers being reported, i am even more suspicious now of what's true
Rocket you are in the denial stage my guy.

That’s the price + GGT and destination

Pass do it your self for way less!
Supercharged Predator crate engine used to be $25,000, Tremec DCT is around $9,000. So parts alone are nearing $40,000. I can't image the cost of a shoehorn to make it all fit and work in a S650.

I like to disassemble things.
Oh wow. Maybe the pricing is a mistake? Goodness.
I'm surprised that you're surprised Zach. You would have seen this the day it was sent to your dealership...

S650 Mustang 2026 Dark Horse SC Mustang pricing released! 1773201100820-l2

nothing about the SC. guess they don't allow me to see messages like that for some reason

that's it, i'm off the copium. this is real and confirmed now. part of me is still hoping the price lists will be the punchline to this joke of a price, though

I think we all have to face the reality that all cars (not just a Mustang) have substantially increased in price over the past several years. When you account for inflation, the price of the SC is not too far off from the S550 GT550 when it debuted.

The problem I have is that Farley is trying to push this Dark Horse brand to a young crowd. In what crazy world (besides a very select few) is someone in their 20's thinking "yea, I'm going to drop $100K+ for a mustang", especially one with very limited pedigree; it just ain't happening.

Now, the dealers are a whole other issue. I will probably be looking at one of these to potentially order in early 2027. You know dealers are going to try to add stupid ADMs, which Ford really needs to control. I know people like @Zach@Granger will be fair 😼

Only thing I disagree with is the part about it being not too far off from the GT500 price when it debuted counting for inflation.

A base 2020 GT500 was $74k

Adjusting for inflation that would be about $93k today

The base DH SC is $108k.

It’s grossly overpriced even in base form IMO

I didn't realize $74K was AFTER gas guzzler and destination fees. So yea, now we are talking about a $15K increase rather than what I thought was $11K. I wouldn't call it grossly overpriced, but its definitely bordering it. They could have called its $99,850 or something, and I think people would have freaked out a hell of a lot less.

Like it or not, but modern cars also have a ton of technology compared to the GT500 which also increases pricing.
