I don't have the door stickers for the '26 DH SC cars but you should be able to substitute the corresponding numbers from these two GT500's...

The only other number you need is for fuel. A gallon of gas weighs ~6lbs and with a 16 gallon tank you are close to 100lbs.

There's all the numbers you should need for the maths.

Not into soup but I'll take the crackers.

Poutine? It's a Canadian thing 🤣 (not soup).

If you want actual weight of your car with any mods (or weight reduction) and stuff inside (including you) find a scale and weigh it. Search for "cat truck scales"... there is a small charge. I live in the middle of nowhere and there are 3 within 14 miles. I have also stopped at a state run truck scale (while closed) on the side of the highway, and looked in the window to see the weight.

Honestly, the math just doesn't math. There are simply too many examples out there of owners weighing their cars in the real world and they completely contradict these numbers.

However, with that being said...the delta between the GT500 and DH SC, with or without their respective options/packages, IS the more important number, IMHO. IF the DH SC ends up weighing that close to a GT500, that's a huge W. We'll know soon enough, of course.

For your troubles, I'll get you some no-name soda crackers and tap water.

(Tough times out here). 🤣

I just realized that the track pack deletes rear seats... how the hell am I supposed to take my kid for a joy ride if I go with the track pack???! 😹
some of us GT350R guys added a back seat back in … it’s actually pretty easy to do …

I now see ~30 DH SC cars have been built based on VIN's. Found 001 through 031 but couldn't find 003 for whatever reason. The bulk had CF wheels and ceramic discs.

Two GVW's, either 4640 lb GVW or 5070 lb GVW.
The cars are listed as VSKK0 - "Shelby Version #2."
Brake system is FEDAK0 - "GT500 Series Brakes."
Somebody never got Farley's memo about not mentioning Shelby or GT500 again at Ford:).

Most of these were pumped out just before Christmas. Still no EPA certification for the 5.2 engine in the DH SC.

Certainly is gorgeous. Performance numbers off the charts...along with the price. Will be interesting to see how this sells, and how it'll affect NA DH pricing.

I had a non-Mustang friend tell me over the weekend that he heard they are making a Dark Horse Mustang. I had to explain to him that they already have a Dark Horse Mustang and that this is the Dark Horse SC. His next question to me was "oh so its just super charged". Then I said no it's a different engine and car all together like the Shelby GT500. He goes "well thats confusing, why not call it a Shelby?". I said because Ford ended the license agreement with Shelby. He goes "why would they that"? I literally had nothing to say, other than because Jim Farley is an idiot. 🤦

Of course he doesn't know who Jim Farley is, but this exchange is a perfect example of whats wrong with the name Dark Horse SC.
