This is misleading information- actually the S650 was meant to come out sooner but there was a delay. Suppliers don’t get first hand strategic information like that until it goes concrete where you would know about the cycle planning in advance. My source? I ACTUALLY worked on the project.
This is certainly misaligned. I ended up realigning both of mine when doing my sway bars. Driver side is easy to do with the front cover on but passenger side is much harder to get seated properly.
I can vouch for the PN above (I also have MagneRide)- works great. Just remember to get the TPMS 19 remote (8C2Z1A203A) to go with it to train each wheel.
This is what I was thinking Dxm- possibly the rear seat back high latch being contacted when going over bumps. The NVH would be transmitted through the body and out the rear quarter panel.
Updated the original post to show what the vehicle looks like on S550 PP2 wheels lowered on Steeda Magneride Sport Springs with Ford Performance Track Sway Bars (last picture).
Hello everyone,
Now that spring has sprung here in Michigan, and I have a track event around the corner I am getting around to installing and trying more parts. Yesterday, I installed the following:
1. Dark Horse/Mach-1 adjustable front strut mounts which allow for camber adjustment...
The owner's manual contains all anchor points between both coupe and convertible, and is the best source of this information. It will include car seat guidance as well.
Hi Everyone,
Before I go down this rabbit hole figured I would check to see if anyone here had recommendations for some vinyl stripes similar to how Nissan does the red stripes for the Nismo:
It's an interesting blend of variables that created the S650- EV demand, no competitors in the segment, CAFE requirements. I still have the belief the S650 had a different design intent than what made it to the market especially after the latest report pushing out EV's and creating a more...
It does not qualify for a recall. You will NOT be injured in the event your seat blower motor is too loud due to the vent blockage….. Interior Engineering is aware of it.
There is two methods to heat / vent on these seats. Vent is a pull method via an internal fan. There should be a backplate with enough coverage to prevent this user case. If I recall correctly the two systems differ for S650 to S550 and the change didn’t get implemented quick enough on S650. If...
Definitely coming, idk if it will be this event it’s debuted at though. Last I saw it was slated for 2026 which means it might be an auto show reveal.
I do believe a film is left on the screen (under the initial protective shipping plastic) from the factory to protect the occupant and prevent head impact injuries as well as to prevent projectiles, glass shards being dispersed during a dynamic event... mostly regulatory
I believe you're correct, Road Pilot. The convo I had this morning with groups familiar (I'm a mechanical major so forgive my novice software knowledge) but OTA updates are released from the Ford servers and received by the vehicle GWM over the vehicle cellular and or WiFi connection. The TCU...
hey there Road Pilot thanks for the help. I was previously in product development at Ford and worked with these groups & likely will reach out directly. From the conversation I had I was told you can take a log dump through engineering mode also by inserting a USB.
