yeah, but it's more than just the supercharger. the carbon fiber wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, properly working paddle shifters, the blank button now doing track apps, launch control, carbon fiber dash and steering wheel trim, all those and more are reasons i wanted to get an SC. plus, when the Whipple comes out for that, if the GT500 is anything to go by the 3.8L will almost certainly push power to 1100hp or more
Cf weeks eh can live without them and you could have gotten them on this dh

We all know these brakes we have are some of the best the carbon ceramics are $10,000+ bill waiting to happen

Launch control is cool

I actually like our steering wheel better minus the bigger paddles I want those for mine
I like the lether outside vs the alcantara outside on the sc.

Sure you can get 1100 but really 800-850 is Plunty
It's hard enough to get traction as is.

I would for sure go for the sc if I were buying right now but I'm fine with what I have and will be for a long time

yeah, those are just my reasons. supposedly carbon ceramics last 100k+ miles on street driven vehicles, the brake pads are just sacrificial to keep them alive. this is also why vehicles with carbon ceramics have the "brake wear" icon, because doing it the way iron rotors do would destroy them. i am 100% buying a maintenance plan if i get an SC. i am by no means upset with my current Mustang either, more just would like an upgrade, and the SC is more or less the build i wanted to do anyways, just with a factory warranty

well, looks like i'm not getting one from my dealer. it's going to a guy that's willing to pay $50k over MSRP and i can't compete with that. we're also promised only one allocation per model year, but more allocations later isn't out of the question
Unfortunately, I am in the same boat as you. My wife works at the dealer and can get it for me without ADM but based on demand it'll likely have to be a 2028MY.

I know this is English, but I do not understand what it means.
Carbon ceramics have a wear indicator so you don't ever get metal on ceramic rubbing it destroys them
It a simple wire that wears through when they are low most times. you replace it with your pads

most vehicles with iron brake rotors have a little metal bit on the brake pad that will serve as an audible wear indicator by screeching when it makes contact with the rotor.

this would be disastrous on carbon ceramic rotors, so most or all manufacturers that use carbon ceramics have a different method, where one brake pad on each wheel has a sensor that simply completes a circuit. this sensor is designed to be worn down with the brake pad, eventually failing to complete the circuit when the pads need to be replaced soon. this sets a code in the ABS module, and the instrument cluster looks for this code, and displays a telltale that says "BRAKE WEAR" when it's found

Ok, ok, thanks. That makes more sense.

Thats basically a gt500 replacement with much uglier Body ..who designed this a 3 yr old ...and the price will be even more stupid ...what happened to smooth flowing sculpted body lines ..SQUARE EXHAUST TIPS REALLY !!! I will be going and getting a Z06 or a ZR1 before I plunk down a 100k a 4300lb Mustang that's shaped like a brick ..the last gt500 was atleast ok looking !!!
The square exhaust tips are a nod to the GTD.

Just checking in to eventually see if there are any upgrades from the SC I can "steal".

Just my opinion, but if I already had a DH, I would not be getting SC unless I was running road courses (or I just had stupid money and wanted one).

The only other reason I might is the low compr ratio means 850-900 at the wheels on 93 pump.
NJ only has one E-85 station (and not even sure if that finally closed). And even that, I wouldn't bother unless I was running drags pretty often.

Avalanche is a non-metallic medium-light greyish-blue color. it has been around for quite a while, and seems to be one of the legacy colors Ford is bringing back, along with Ruby Red and Orange Fury. if you go to your local Ford dealer, you may be able to find a Super Duty in Avalanche
