Understood. Just trying to think what the wing mount area on trunk would look like after supporting a full weight predator on those wing mounts. Just feels like it wouldn't be pretty. :) There is not a huge amount of extra support added for CF wing, at least not on my car. Maybe SC upgrades...

I definitely agree on premise. Ford claims 620 lb downforce on SC now. That's like it's engine w/supercharger (wet, not even dry) on the trunk. Everything back there must be compressing a decent amount, on a stock 500/SC with CF Wing.

This was on my 21 GT500. Never did anything with it, but could be one way to measure before/after. Would need lots of data from a high speed straight. Take before/after averages from entire track day. Not sure how to log "height" sensors...

But aren't a bunch of them paying off big mortgages after upsizing houses, and now putting kids through college? (maybe not earliest Gen X, which are not far off from last boomers). I guess flip side is if Ford is banking an extra $15K per car, do they care if they sell even the 14K GT500's...

Haven't taken my PS4S's down that low, have AS 3++ for the winter (since we do get snow), but running them down to 32-35, they drive 85-90% of what they do @ 70+ warmed up. If your running 700+ HP in the winter, maybe you have to be careful (as you would with almost any tire in winter). But...

Is that 1200 HP for a 1/4 mile, or a 30 minute track session in summer, with "detune" built in if CHT (inferring somewhat, EGT I assume) temps get too high?

Well, track pack has no back seat. Stang does have to start out being based on a 4 seat, low price engineered, EB. But that is not Chevy's problem if Ford is asking same money now as a Z06. If $ are the same/close, comparison's are valid no matter what we are talking (IMO).

And even if "they" go, next week you show up with 824 crank on only a 93 tune, for a couple hundred. The week after that, you show up with 970 crank (still 93), for another 7 grand (very mild bolt ons). "Metrics" still not good enough? Week after that, 1216 crank, couple more bolts on and...

Only thing I would add, is I don't think Predator is "hand" built anymore.

I read one suggestion (somewhere) that the fee to get in DHSC program was $2-3.5K for the dealer. Find a small dealer that was not even planning on getting in to the program. Pay the fee for them in exchange for say a 5 grand ADM (or something, like 8 total). Might be the best you are going to...

Could still get a 22 GT500 up through 41 months, and 41K miles and get factory 10 year warrantee (if not modding drivetrain). Got my 21 about a year and half old for $96K w/2600 miles. Sticker was $105K, but I bet it originally went for closer to 120ish (being CFTP, painted stripe, etc..). 10...
