  1. I am very impressed with the Dark Horse on the track (VIR)

For reference, I take my headrest out and put it in backwards for track days. It is compliant with the guide sleeves and will not cause issues. Still adjustable if it makes any difference.
  2. Next Mod - LTH or Half Shafts

replace driver side half-shaft with the GT350 half-shaft AND get LTH. Solved.
  3. Heavier Front Sway Bar

I do find the Steeda combo more enjoyable for DD, but the FP combo more predictable on road courses. Great looking vert you have there!

  5. 1/4 Mile Times

Running into any cooling or overheating issues on your base GT when doing passes or while spirited driving?
  6. Any Info. or thoughts on Camaro returning?

I just recently attended an engineering meet at one of the plants announced for the Gen IV V8 GM is making... I personally asked about this noting Corvette hasn't been mentioned in the publications and there is currently zero plans or development. If such a thing we're to happen it would not be...

  8. Dark Horse vs GT Premium

After having a loaded GT premium 401A with perf pack I ordered a 600A DH with Recaro's and the handling pack due to the value proposition. Really not missing much except for trim on the dash, the security pack and what became for me was annoying lighting effects.
  9. 'Mustang Unleashed' Track Driving Experience Registration Now Active (It's FREE)

Gr8ful is correct here, yes you will receive an email from Ford Performance confirming your registration, and less than 24 hours after that I received an introductory email from the coordinator at the ford performance racing school where the event is held again confirming my personal information.
  10. Dark Horse Track issue(Temporary loss of power)

I get fuel starved when less than 25% out at the track too, but that's primarily because it's not computing the MPG's properly, so it shows a disingenuous amount of gas on the gauge when you're actually empty or running on fumes. Just keep her above 50% and you won't have any issues.
  11. Test drove Dark Horse … and something at cars n coffee that would DESTROY a GTD

Loved the write up, and I came back with similar take aways since I was big on the S550's, Mach-1 and especially the GT350. I was on the fence about getting a DH when they first came out because of the price differential with mark up so I ended up with the GT back in august of 23' while cross...
  12. Rear ride height with lowering springs still too high

Double check on when they torqued the vertical links because they should only be snug when the suspension is unloaded so they can move to a natural position once you put weight on the wheels then torqued while on ramps or a lift. If they did the links without the suspension loaded it can create...
  13. Rear ride height with lowering springs still too high

I have the same questions Skye does. Are these pictures with the vehicle flat on a surface and not on jacks? If so, based on observations it doesn't appear to be torqued at ride height (with the suspension loaded). Re-clocking the bushings will only help if it's at the new ride height. If you...
  14. Day 1 - love the car but a few things that could've made it better

Everyone complains about #1, but it's regulatory. Not happening any time soon. Love your write up btw I have similar first world problems with the car. @Lakersfreak
  15. Introductions & Welcome Thread 👋

beautiful! love that spec on convertible. I'm ported over from 6G as well although I still like to surf the forums over there. Lots of knowledge. Welcome!
  16. 2025 Mustang Scheduling Begins This Week (9/19/24) for Production Weeks 11/4 - 11/25

Shoot, that's just for getting scheduled or built. Delivery probably won't be until August/September then.
  17. Official 2025 Mustang GTD Figures: 815 HP / 664 LB-FT / 202 MPH Top Speed

I feel like this comment will age well... totally agree.
  18. Official 2025 Mustang GTD Figures: 815 HP / 664 LB-FT / 202 MPH Top Speed

This is a fair point to emphasize (to @young at heart 's original point)
  19. Official 2025 Mustang GTD Figures: 815 HP / 664 LB-FT / 202 MPH Top Speed

That's a guess we can revisit in two-three years since you can't sell your GTD before then or auction it. You can't stop collectors from collecting. hell, I still know people with first model year C8's untouched and looking back in hindsight they depreciate faster than C7's. Until then tangibly...
