  1. DFB’s Guide to Trim Restoration and Protection

I started with the trial size and before I was done with my car, I ordered a bigger size. Thanks!
  2. Detail Factory Brand Overview & Buyers Guide

How do you keep your brushes organized by function? Even after cleaning, I don’t want to use my plastic brushes on my wheels. I store them by function but don’t want to mix them up when I’m using them.
  3. DFB’s Guide to Trim Restoration and Protection

Thanks for recommending Reload, it’s a great product. I used it on unpainted plastic as recommended: chin splitter, corner grills, side skirts, window trim, rear bumper/ diffuser, and mirror plastic, they look clean and protected without looking overly glossy/ shiny. Is it ok to use Reload on my...
  4. Ensight Auto Sync 4 Front Parking Camera

The 3d printed bracket is the way to go and using velcro is smart, it ends up taking me a few attempts before I’m fully satisfied.
  5. DFB's Detailing Garage

I don’t, I saw it somewhere and really liked it, so held on to it.
  6. Ensight Auto Sync 4 Front Parking Camera

My shop put it behind the grill and didn’t charge me for removing and replacing the bumper, a nice surprise.
  7. DFB's Detailing Garage

I always liked the Brembo’s with a pop of color.
  8. Minimum Drop Springs

I love the look of a 1.3” drop but it’s not practical. I don’t like having a delicate car that’s afraid of entering a driveway. Again, I’d rather not make a spring change but it’s helpful hearing peoples experiences with other springs. I ordered Steeda’s front ride height spacer kit. It’s...

Very nice! Can u add a side shot?
  10. DFB's Detailing Garage

My caliber covers have a matte finish which makes them dull, especially compared to yours in bright red! My wheels are ceramic coated, including the calibers, I assume bc there’s very little brake dust. I clean with ceramic suds but used Adams wheel cleaner with a brush on the letters. I want...
  11. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

A vendor at Ford Nationals (Carlisle) was selling an intake cover painted red. They wanted $400, and yours is MUCH nicer. Now u can’t get a supercharger!
  12. DFB's Detailing Garage

A few random questions… lmk if there’s a better thread for quick Q and A. 1. How do I make my Brembo caliber covers shine? Mine are black and dull. 2) what’s the best product to remove weighting stickers from ceramic coated wheels? 3. How do I treat/ protect the thin black (rubber/ plastic)...
  13. Minimum Drop Springs

My front tires, 0 fingers, and my RTR chin splitter rubbed several times the day it was installed. I’m considering Steeda Mustang Front Ride Height Spacer Kit (2015-2026) to raise the front an 1/8 or 1/4 inch. At $200, it’s expensive but I like Steeda’s progressive springs and rather not make...
  14. Minimum Drop Springs

So the front was raised .3 inches and the back lowered .2 “. It’s amazing what a difference .3 of an inch can make. I don’t like worrying about rubbing or scrapping either. You car looks great! It’s still an aggressive stance but now you can put a finger between your tire and fender.
  15. Minimum Drop Springs

Did you move away from the progressive sport’s bc of clearance or feel?
  16. Minimum Drop Springs

You’re a genius!! Much smarter than AI!
  17. Minimum Drop Springs

Has anyone transitioned from Steeda’s progressive sport springs to Steeda’s, or a competitors, minimum drop springs? What’s the impact on performance and comfort? Any suggestions to improve clearance without significantly changing driving characteristics? I’m dialed in on the progressive...
