i can't remember which manufacturer it was, but there were stories back in the early 2000s of one of the plants building out a coupe on one side not realizing it was a sedan on the other side.

How it got out into the wild, well that's really shocking. Maybe this was a rework done in the parking lot and not something that was fit down the trim line.

Could also have gotten out of sequence LH to RH side, but still....
