What @Sofa King said. They do have one way check valves downstream of the catch can. I ordered the upgraded check valves on my F-150. None on the Mustang. It's dirty side only, though, and being NA flow is maintain in one direction so isn't really needed.
I run UPR on my Mustang GT (dirty side only) and on my 25 F-150 Ecoboost (clean side and dirty side). For a boosted application I recommend running clean and dirty side catch can or at least a clean side separator with dirty side catch can. It will keep the oil mist out of your intake (including...
Like I said....I don't expect everyone to get it. If it's not for you then move on. Don't bash what another may like just because you don't get it. Car culture is more than making others happy. It's about having fun in whatever your brung and doing what you like with a car. Drift culture isn't...
This is the dumbest article ever. If C&D would have taken 5 minutes to do a little Google search they would learn that these cars are more set up for drifting, not drag racing. Drifters aren't as concerned about 0-60 or quarter mile times. There is more concern about breaking the tires loose...
AI will steer you in the wrong direction over and over again because it is paranoid. If the car tracks straight and true, and the wear pattern is good, I would skip it. For what it's worth (and I'll probably get some flak for this) before my 2010 F-150 got totaled by a deer I had 230k miles on...
I had automatic updates turned on, but I just realized the other day that I haven't had an update since Nov 24. I can't get Fordpass or the car to turn automatic updates, and on the dash it just spins and spins. Is this something I need to take to the dealer to correct, or can this be...
It was for the my GT. Job 2 cars with AS/S and the manual transmission did not have gas guzzler tax added on as I understand it. Regardless, I think we can agree it's a crap tax and just a money grab by the US Treasury.
Can I have my $1000 gas guzzler tax back, then? Had to pay that since my job 1 '24 didn't come with AS/S. Still salty about it on a car that gets a a rated 24 mpg on the highway, but I am glad I don't have that stupid feature on my car.
Ahhh...ok. Still haven't had mine done. The repair looks awful from what some have posted, and I don't have any decent dealers in my area that I trust with my baby. Maybe I can have Gaston Ford check it out right before Mustang Week in Charlotte.
So hold up....now they only inspect? What if you have a Mustang like mine that hasn't seen rain since I took delivery? There would be no noticed water intrusion, correct? So then the recall could get signed off, but there is still a potential issue.
I agree with both of these comments. I drive mine in the mountains on some very curvy roads (I'm not far from the Tail of the Dragon), and the gearing and subsequent acceleration/cruising, IMHO, is perfect for this setting. That said, if I was drag racing it a shorter rear end would definitely...
If I can make a recommendation? Take the wheels you are looking at and upload them and a picture of your car to an AI chat (I like Gemini for this, personally). Ask it to put the wheels on the car for you. Helps you make a decision about aftermarket additions. I asked it to do everything...
Oil temps can spike pretty quick with full throttle pulls. I've seen my temps jump from 195 to 209 with a good full throttle run from 2nd through 4th with a manual transmission. I have the PP and the temps drop pretty quick driving around 60-70 mph with that factory oil cooler (<5 minutes back...
