Has anyone bought the Billetworkz shifter for their 10speed Auto? If so is it worth almost $170?

They want $279 for that knob. No way. I'd take the titanium knob for $220 though.

Thanks! Ordered it last night! I also ordered a leather boot from Redlineprofucts.com. They ship from Poland, so I won’t get it for a month or so, but I have the product in my S550, SN95 and Corvette and really like their work.

I wanted real leather, so I ordered the ford boot, but will replace with real leather.

Just ordered the shifter boot trim for my S550, may as well do them both.

I know this is an old post, but thought I’d share my experience with installing an auto Billetworkz shift knob. When removing the boot from the stick mechanism I took note of the height of the little stick you press down to shift which has some grease. Accidentally, I moved it up and could not get it to sit back at the height initially noted (as seen in the photo). So I went ahead and installed it but just felt too high (even thought everything worked). The next day, I removed the boot and knob again and after jiggling the stick around it finally dropped down to the proper height. Now it sits properly.

Any issues with pushing the ring down to move the shift lever? Seems like it might be a little awkward.

I got used to mine quite quickly. I use my right index and middle finger to press the ring down. Works good.
