Thanks Midlife, bunch of googling and I couldn't get that! Sidebar, I like your profile name, had to share it with my wife cause she says this is my midlife crisis car.... too funny! Thanks again! It is called the 10R80.
GM and Ford developed the core iron together, with small HW changes and differences in SW tuning between the two. The GM version is called the 10L90.
Thank you. Unfortunately, society acts like midlife is 40 to 50. It's statistically about 38 years old. Thanks Midlife, bunch of googling and I couldn't get that! Sidebar, I like your profile name, had to share it with my wife cause she says this is my midlife crisis car.... too funny! Thanks again!

I will be 38 this year and bought mine last May. Its my daily driver. I'm the poser who likes loud V8s that will never see a track.I'm 38 and just bought my first Mustang GT last week...![]()
Well, I am 67 and still feel young modifying my Dark Horse for the fun of my retirement!! I am not that old yet though! I hope to enjoy my DH for the rest of my life!!!Biblically a full/long life is 3 score and 10; which is 70 years
So midlife is 35, which by Sartre is the age of reason
I tried to get a vanity plate in my state that said CRISIS, but it was already taken. Thanks Midlife, bunch of googling and I couldn't get that! Sidebar, I like your profile name, had to share it with my wife cause she says this is my midlife crisis car.... too funny! Thanks again!
I would advise you to keep it as long as possible. My 66 convertible is my overall favorite, but that is because it was the car I grew up with. My Dad gave it and the 73 Grande to me when he had vision issues and could not drive anymore. They still run very well.I'm 38 and just bought my first Mustang GT last week...![]()
