Oh wow! Now we’re talkin! That setup is extremely intriguing! If Ford keeps the pricing reasonable I’m in!
It's a big ask to put the words reasonably priced together in regards to the s650 lol

The 550 was all about reviving theold nameplates .Bullitt/GT350/GT500/Mach 1 had one more day in the sun. The 650 is being presented as new era nameplates The Dark Horse and DHSC, and the GTD are not likely to be joined by the Boss 302. Think more of names like Ghost Horse, Appaloosa, or GTDamn (sorry, had to get it out of my system). Ford is looking at buyers who have not been around the old nameplates in their heyday and want something that speaks to their generation.
Not arguing with you - but pointing out I dont think this is a good move by FordThe 550 was all about reviving theold nameplates .Bullitt/GT350/GT500/Mach 1 had one more day in the sun. Those name plates have been around for decades. They weren't "revived".The 550 was all about reviving theold nameplates .Bullitt/GT350/GT500/Mach 1 had one more day in the sun.
Sorry, but those names are laughably bad.The 650 is being presented as new era nameplates The Dark Horse and DHSC, and the GTD are not likely to be joined by the Boss 302. Think more of names like Ghost Horse, Appaloosa, or GTDamn (sorry, had to get it out of my system).
Im curious why you seem so confident in that opinion. If that were the case, why still call it a mustang?Ford is looking at buyers who have not been around the old nameplates in their heyday and want something that speaks to their generation.
Carroll would put his name on anything for a few bucks. The Dodge Shelby! That was kind of a low point for Carrol and Dodge, wasn't it.
No competition right now........BUT the Camaro is coming back in '27 and if Dodge can get their act together, and put a damn Hemi in the new Charger. Then it would be interesting.......But price wise, if what is described from the factory, this would be higher priced than the DHSC, and would DOA to the common pee-ons........Exactly, that's my point lol.. totally doa unless it's reasonably priced , and fat chance since there's no competition
