I finally sat down and figured out how to use FORScan. I first bought the wired obdlink and let it sit on my desk past the return window. Oops. Then decided I wanted the wireless obdlinkmx+ so I can also use it for track days. Don't be like me. Anyways, since his instructions are buried, here's a link to @roket 's instructions to add the boost gauge using FORScan: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/th...ing-for-2024-mustang-s650.156285/post-3254179

(I did contact Whipple and they won't/can't add this to the calibration file. Bummer.)

It gives you this:

Which is helpful to ensure you don't have a boost leak when on throttle by matching it up to your manufacturers pulley table like Whipple's here:

Happy boosting!

im guessing the gauge correctly switches from inHg to psi when you get into the boost?

Is Anyone near Detroit suburbs that can do this as a service? (I’ll pay)
I just want my boost gauge turned on, I don’t want to buy an interface and download software on my old laptop. Lmk

I don't need to get paid, @Q6543, but what part of the Detroit suburbs do you live in?

I’m in Warren šŸ‘
If you're willing to drive out to Howell, I can do this on a weekend.

I also work in the Romulus area a few days a week, but no guarantee I won't have something break out the moment you were to get here.

I’m trying to set this up. I’m running forscan on parallels on my Mac. I’ve got the cable, the license, I’ve followed the directions to get the PCM strategy from the forscan website, but it won’t recognize my car. Any suggestions?

VMS are always trouble for direct access stuff like this try passing the whole USB controller you have the obd adapter through.
Not even sure you can do that in parallels.

If the issue is it doesn't recognize your tune on the PCM, follow these instructions https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=25727

Otherwise, I'm clueless

Everything seems to be working fine until I try to connect. It wants me to manually enter the PCM strategy, which I’ve done following the instructions laid out by Forscan, but still no dice.
