  1. How to Adjust Camber Plates on Dark Horse

Yes, they're fixed for factory spec. Remove them to allow adjustment.
  2. Stage 2 whipple vs aftermarket tunes

Sorry to hijack, but my question's to the same effect. Can anybody tell me what the options are for upgrading if I'm running the self installed Ford Performance stage 1 Whipple? Can a tuner also use my calibration? I suppose I'd be missing the bigger throttle body from the stage 2 kits but I'm...
  3. Mustang hits rev limiter at 6000 Rpms while driving.

My guess for others experiencing this themselves, and from my own experience is that if your car's a manual, it's not actually hitting rev limiter, but the no-lift shift is activating either by accidentally pre-staging your foot on the clutch (my experience), the clutch activating the switch on...
  4. Mustang hits rev limiter at 6000 Rpms while driving.

For our own edification, did they explain why it was the clutch pedal?
  5. Oil change interval ?

It's the same Whipple, and it's actually an optional post-title upgrade for their S650 GT350 upgrade package. Their site doesn't identify any other changes made to the motor. I suspect Shelby is demanding a 2000 mile oil change interval for no other reason than to "gotcha" the owners on warranty...
  6. Oil change interval ?

Just so you know, Whipple, who makes the supercharger Shelby uses for their modern GT350 upgrade package, recommends a 5000 mile oil change.
  7. Number of key fobs that can be programmed to a vehicle

Strange revival. We established that four fobs was max, so are you cautioning against phones/devices? The PAAK box is programmed to act like any other key fob. Four max fobs. Phones paired to the PAAK box do not count as additional fobs.
  8. Strut tower brace with supercharger?

I put the mounts in to help me get the best connection to my drivetrain. Go racecar! I lowered the motor because the adjustability was there, the clearance was available, and there's a small handling benefit from lowering the center of gravity. Re-adding the brace was an afterthought attempt...
  9. Strut tower brace with supercharger?

My motor is lowered 3/4" on Steeda's motor mounts. Stock brace still does not fit.
  10. DH PP wheel finish versus standard DH wheel finish

The handling package wheels are the same color as far as I can tell. They're a different design though. So you're thinking of running the standard Dark Horse wheels on the front and the HP wheels on the rear?
  11. Steeda "stop the hop" kit

Everything in my signature has been installed on jack stands.
  12. Summertime tire pressures - what counts as "cold" for setting tire pressure

Undriven and at ambient is the intention. In the morning or in the car park should be relatively similar, no? Manufacturer cold pressure is really just to combat underinflation, which typically causes more overall wear and damage to a tire than overinflation. 95 in the morning to 120 in the...
  13. Very interesting, Google Gemini gives the Dark Horse SC a name.

In the SC demo when Ford was going through the drive modes, a graphic of the car had BOSS on the side where SC is now. They probably mulled over a few options before sticking with Dark Horse SC. Super Cobra and Super Chicken wouldn't surprise me :D
  14. Steeda "stop the hop" kit

I have the full kit installed. I get some driveline noise transferred under deceleration but that's about it. I actually like that characteristic of it. Makes it feel more racecar. No vibration or harshness though.
  15. Those who track your Dark Horse - what changes have you made?

I autocross mine regularly. RE71RS on square 19x11 Steeda Tridents grip incredibly for that. Hope to get to Virginia International Raceway soon but looking for a trailer first. Mods in signature.
  16. Tire rotation and TPMS

If they're indeed directional then follow the tire manufacturer's guidelines.
  17. Tire rotation and TPMS

You can only swap side to side. That's why most who do performance driving events prefer squared wheel setups.
  18. Tire rotation and TPMS

He's probably being pedantic about your rotation when you said you switched your tires front and back on the same side. It's not technically a rear wheel drive squared setup rotation, which is done by moving the rear tires straight to the front, and the front tires to the opposite side's back.
  19. Tire rotation and TPMS

I usually run 2 psi more in my fronts than my rears so I see them flip
  20. Tire rotation and TPMS

The sensors will automatically relearn to their new corners. I stopped paying attention how long it takes because I rotate after every event I do, but I want to say it's usually within 20 minutes of driving. You can buy a cheap TPMS relearning tool if you want to do it immediately.
