The handling package wheels are the same color as far as I can tell. They're a different design though. So you're thinking of running the standard Dark Horse wheels on the front and the HP wheels on the rear?
Undriven and at ambient is the intention. In the morning or in the car park should be relatively similar, no? Manufacturer cold pressure is really just to combat underinflation, which typically causes more overall wear and damage to a tire than overinflation. 95 in the morning to 120 in the...
In the SC demo when Ford was going through the drive modes, a graphic of the car had BOSS on the side where SC is now. They probably mulled over a few options before sticking with Dark Horse SC. Super Cobra and Super Chicken wouldn't surprise me :D
I have the full kit installed. I get some driveline noise transferred under deceleration but that's about it. I actually like that characteristic of it. Makes it feel more racecar. No vibration or harshness though.
I autocross mine regularly. RE71RS on square 19x11 Steeda Tridents grip incredibly for that. Hope to get to Virginia International Raceway soon but looking for a trailer first. Mods in signature.
He's probably being pedantic about your rotation when you said you switched your tires front and back on the same side. It's not technically a rear wheel drive squared setup rotation, which is done by moving the rear tires straight to the front, and the front tires to the opposite side's back.
The sensors will automatically relearn to their new corners. I stopped paying attention how long it takes because I rotate after every event I do, but I want to say it's usually within 20 minutes of driving. You can buy a cheap TPMS relearning tool if you want to do it immediately.
I think y'all with whipples are full of it 😂. Sometimes I think it doesn't spin. Then I hold down the TC button to turn off TC and DSC and floor it and the tires always let go. 325 wide PS4S and 305 wide RE71RS 🤷♂️
OBD gives RPM, throttle, and some temps, so you can see it's not really useful for comparing driver input. On the S550, CAN gave access to:
Engine RPM
Throttle Position (Throttle Plate Position)
Steering Wheel Angle
Brake Pressure (Brake Pedal Position)
Transmission Gear Number
Engine Coolant...
Heyo! I'm using Solostorm along with an OBDLink MX+ and Racebox Mini to log my autocross runs and trying to get access to better telemetry. I picked up THIS CAN tap harness kit which I need to connect to HS2 CANH and HS2 CANL.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram handy or have already done...
Oil viscosity is affected over time by moisture and oxidation even just sitting in the motor. The oil life monitor counts down to zero life over a year's time regardless if other wear factors aren't met.
Personal recommendation, if you're in warranty, follow the interval. Once you're outside...
Maybe it's just your new baseline? Unfortunate side effect of fast toys is the fast becomes normal and we crave faster. My car scares the piss out of the people I give spirited rides to but like you, I want more :D
You're also likely acceleration limited by your tire and traction control. If...
I've mentioned I do this and have been asked how so here's a quick visual.
Drain your oil as usual:
I go in through the wheel well with the wheel turned full lock left. Pull the plastic alternator guard over the anti roll bar and stuff the area with a shop towel or rags:
Fashion a...
